Me and my family stayed for the New York City Marathon and it was the perfect location for my family to meet me at the halfway point and at the finish line and I also had a bus at the corner of the block which I can make it to the ferry

The staff were super nice. Very helpful. The lobby is pretty with places to sit and coffee in the morning. Only dislike was the elevator close to my door. It rattled very loudly every time it was in use. It woke me in the night. Otherwise it was very quiet.

Everything about the stay was great - except for the check-in where they gave us a king instead of 2 queens. We had to move rooms to a 2 queen room the second night.

Horrible customer service!
Horrible experience.. the hotel did not have my reservation but hotels.com did. They would not give me a room and was on the phone with hotels.com for 75 minutes only to be told there was a discrepancy and that one of the companies would reimburse my $433 and I had to cancel my night in NYC. A few days later I was informed that I was no longer getting a refund since the hotel says it was non refundable even though they did not have my reservation and would not give me a room and hotels.com said it was out of their hands even though their first customer service agent promised me a refund no matter what. I will not be using either company in the future.

Disappointing
The room we reserved was not available when we arrived, the hotel staff said that they did not have any rooms with 2 beds available at all. I was traveling with my two children, so a King room was not an option. I was working with Hotels.com to find another room, when amazingly, the hotel staff informed me that they did have a room with two beds and that they would refund me $200 for not having the room with a terrace that I reserved. It was all very odd, very disappointing. We will not be back.

property was fine. however it seems they overbook or expedia made the mistake. i booked a double queen room and received a king size bed instead. that’s not what i paid for. i complained and they said all rooms were full. i am entitled to my money back
