In summary: well located hotel with a tired decor, badly run by incapable staff. Don’t stay at this hotel.
The good:
The hotel is well located, with several subway stops very close by providing easy access across the city. The bed was comfy, the shower great.
The bad:
The room was smaller than expected with tired decor. The carpets were worn and frayed, the furniture scratched and chipped, the headboard covered to hide damage, a crack in the bathroom mirror was covered by duct-tape, and there was a handprint on the ceiling above the bed.
Over our week's stay we interacted with front desk daily as our room was not visited by house keeping on two days, another we were left without body wash in the shower, another we had no shower mat and on our last two days we had no towels. The light in our bathroom malfunctioned but was not repaired despite reporting twice.
The staff were curt and slow at check-in. As we reported issues it became clear that relations between reception and house keeping were on a knife-edge. The inclusive breakfast was charged a gratuity that was payable at the end of our stay.
We recommend you look elsewhere.
