Location was convenient for tourists attractions….but we found it impossible to sleep at this property due to traffic sounds at ALL hours! Staff was GREAT, friendly and attentive…but the property itself is outdated and felt a bit unsafe. One working elevator most days…. so we ended up taking the stairs for our 9th floor room several times. Trash and trash bins were all over the entrance grounds ….making a poor impression when taking ride shares. The inside cleanliness was better. The patio lobby entrance is covered with scaffolding that we were told has been there for some time while they await permits to finish. Lastly, both our bathroom door … and the shower door were VERY hard to open and close. We eventually just left them partially ajar for fear of getting stuck. They are reminiscent to homes with foundation issues….so clearly…. a bit concerning. I wouldn’t stay at this property again ….and can’t recommend that anyone stay there until they fix these possible structural and cleanliness issues. Soundproofing would also be a MUST… due to the location. This isn’t a Times Square hotel….but you’d never know it from the sirens and honking horns at all hours. I hate to leave a poor review…because the employees were lovely….but a national brand like Holiday Inn should do better for customers and their employees too.

What stands out the most is the friendly staff, especially the Manager Henry, the breakfast, and the location. We did have one issue the first night that we checked in, but the staff/manager made sure the issue was resolved expeditiously, and even compensated us for the inconvenience. Customer service is #1 in my book! I rate this hotel an A based on that alone! We'll definitely stay there again!

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean for the most part. Only two elevators which housekeeping staff have to share with guests. We were on the top floor and a few times had to wait almost 10 minutes for an elevator because one was being used by housekeeping to move supplies from floor to floor. Beds are super comfortable, pillows are decent as well. Breakfasts has a good variety.

I always trust on Travelocity but this time totally disappointed due to hotel explanation, as it wasn’t 4* it was 2 3 star hotel as it’s shown on google as well, room wasn’t fully functional, the air conditioning wasn’t enough for sleep thermostat was staying at 21• even I selected 16• when I complained the technician came and checked and said due to old system the room temperature can’t go lower the 21• I tried but couldn’t sleep so came to the front desk at 2am and ask them to change the room but they said we will see in the morning for changes, whole night I couldn’t sleep next day they changed the room the intercom wasn’t working and iron wasn’t functioning I have reported all complaints to front desk and they said ok we will fix your issue after long wait I came back again to front desk then they replace the iron and technician replug the intercom and said after charge it will work which wasn’t true the intercom didn’t works during rest of the days and every time I had to come downstairs to talk to front desk , Friday night when we came back and tried to open the door but the card didn’t worked again informed them they tried all options to open the door but all failed we were in the lobby for two hours during midnight , as door don’t have the electronic power and they don’t have any support at all during the nights the front desk lady tried, at last they opened the door manually by pressing the the lock next day we had the the flight , I deserve the max refund, thanks

Staff was amazing. The room had a few things that needed fixing, the bathroom sink had low cold water pressure & the shower door had to be slammed shut; other than that, everything was super clean and overall a great experience. I would definitely return and stay there again. Much thanks to the staff, cheers.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was quite generous. It could get you through the day. The hotel was also at a walking distance from Broadway, the Empire State Building and other wonderful landmarks.
