Room was extremely small. Threshold to bathroom was a tripping hazard. A/C was set to 70° but the room never got below 75°. Shower head was broken. We called the front desk for additional pillows and they never came. Elevators could barely fit four people. Breakfast area had limited seating so we had to take food back to our room. Lobby was also small.

Our room was small, but the hotel made up for it with its convenient location & accessibility to the whole city. We found street parking on Thursday & it was good until Monday’s check out time. Staff were very helpful with finding anything we wanted to do.

My Dad and sister stayed at the Belleclaire on their visit to NYC and loved it. It is in the very nice Upper West Side of Manhattan, which is mostly residential with many nice quality local restaurants facing nice urban environments, and walkable from the hotel. The Belleclaire has been recently renovated and it feels modern, yet adequate for the 1880 French style architecture on cute corner. It is easy to reach tourist spots from it via subway or taxi, and it is only a few blocks away from the Natural History Museum and Central Park. I highly recommend it. Staff is very kind and offers great attention. I had read about this before and was able to confirm it! My Dad and sister said that they would return next time they visit!

Clean and comfortable small hotel. Good vibe and friendly staff. Safe neighborhood. Disappointed that there was No fridge/ drinks option or microwave, no room service, either. Just 1 restaurant/bar Facilities : a very small gym ( didn't use). Breakfast at the attached take out French bakery was alright. Very busy, small and only a few tables outside (not what I pictured). Our stay was good, but will opt for a different hotel next time. Way too far from midtown and main attractions. Had better stay midtown a few years ago. The Gelato ice cream place near by is incredible. The best we ever had.

Property was very good. However, there was no coffee maker in the room, bathroom shelves were nonexistent, it is very loud as you can hear people talking in the hallway, as the doors are not sealed, shower and sink noises from adjacent rooms were very loud.

The room is a great size, comfortable bed, well situated for public transportation. Only complaint is that the bathroom doesn’t have a lot of storage space. The doorman found out it was my birthday and the front desk gave us a bottle of wine; Diamond is fantastic!

Was only in NY for two nights and this property was perfect for our needs. The location is wonderful. I prefer upper West Side and would highly recommend if you are looking for this neighborhood. Hotel is only 2 blocks from subway and very walkable to the Met and Zoo in Central Park. For NY, the room was very comfortable. Small-ish bathroom, but I've stayed in significantly smaller accommodations. Room to walk around the beds and a small desk where I was able to work. Staff was really wonderful, especially the valet's that were super helpful about transportation and recommendations for getting around. French bakery was delicious and super convenient for breakfast. Really long lines in the morning, but again, the staff was very friendly and kept things moving along. Would definitely stay in this location again for our next adventure to NY.

From 11 pm - 12:30 am when we were trying to sleep - we were kept awake by noisy inconsiderate occupants across the hall. Children running in the hallway, their door open/closing repeatedly, conversations heard from inside the neighbors room. Had to call the front desk to address the disturbance. I know it was out bad luck but it ruined our stay.

Very basic hotel rooms,
Very badic and very clean room. Decent beds. No pictureson the walls. No place to sit. Very tiny uncomfortable bathrooms. No place to move around the bathroom and no place to put stuff. Nonetheless good water stream. Thin walls. Great location in the upper west side. Elevators like in paris hotels
