The property was smelling badly. The chemicals they used to wash the floors are disaster. Shower sinks are leaking. Breakfast included, but basically there is no breakfast just waffles, coffee and some yoghurt. When we try to talk to the receptionist and the manager to change our booking, their reaction was.- there is nothing wrong with our hotel and we cannot change your booking! The rooms are old and dirty the mattresses are very inconvenient. AC turns on and off by itself.

Positives: The hotel was very clean, the complementary breakfast was a nice addition and there was always plenty of food, sausage, eggs, bread, cereal and make your own waffles station along with hot drinks and juices. The rooms were very large and clean with comfy beds and lots of pillows. The room had lots of USB ports, a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Negatives: The hotel is situated on the highway with nothing in walking distance and no bus stop nearby, if you have a car this wouldn’t be an issue, we didn’t. A police officer advised us that we should get an Uber from NP station as it isn’t somewhere we should be walking around a night as out of towners. Ubers to and from Newark Penn station varied depending on the time of day (rush hour) between $7 - $35 each way. Newark Penn has good connections getting into the City. Overall: The hotel was nothing fancy but was nice and clean with good facilities and had it of been close to the station one I would have used again, however, without a car I would not be inclined to stay here again which is a shame as for the money it was a decent stop over.
