One of Ohiya's most popular landmarks is the Dambulla Cave Temple. Many tourists like to stay near this famous attraction when in Ohiya. The Bluesky Guest House and Governor's Gangula Dambulla are close by.

The Langdale by Amaya is positioned 19 kilometres from the main part of Ohiya. Another alternative is the Bandarawela Hotel, which is positioned 16 kilometres away. Some more places to stay here are the Heritance Tea Factory and the Galway Forest Lodge.

Don't skedaddle before you have checked out the Royal Botanical Garden and Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and peaceful property. The spacious rooms have a fantastic view and we loved the restaurant offering yummy and fresh food - loved the freshly cut fruit at the breakfast 💚 I would say the biggest highlight are the experiences offered by the hotel with their experienced and amazing naturalist guide Sudheerah who brought us around in a beautiful walk and shared many interesting insights about the the nature and the wildlife here. We highly recommend to take these tours if you come here as it makes a big difference vs going where everyone else goes!! The staff is very very nice and welcoming and we are really grateful for the beautiful hospitality
