Victoria and the other front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices. The lounge was nice and always accessible for coffee, water etc. They also had energy shots at the front desk as a nice little treat for guests, after a spending a long day out.

Fun hotel in the middle of Oslo
Great hotel, funky decor. The room was nice and comfortable. Somehow they put us in a handicap assisted room so might have been more spacious than normal. Breakfast buffet was over the top. Absolutely huge selection of eggs, potatoes, cheeses, meats, breads, juices etc. Too much to even mention. One caveat, our room looked down onto Rosenkrantz which had a lively nightlife scene just below our window until 3:00 am

Check in was efficient. The staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of variety. Location was central and we can walk to all the sites. Rooms are a bit small and with the modern notion that drawers are not necessary. Given the lack of drawers, a foldable luggage rack would be a plus. Heated bathroom floor is nice, will be essential in the winter. Overall a good stay.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and can easily say we’d return in a heartbeat! The staff are all wonderful and all spoke multiple languages, making it very fun watching them speak to all the different people in the dining room with ease. Our room was fantastic, it was cleaned daily and fresh towels/beds made, even complimentary bottles of shampoo and conditioner were replaced when we used them. There is a lounge with a coffee machine in (it was out of order but they fixed it really quickly) and a coffee machine in the room too! The breakfasts were incredible, anything you could think of, they had. It was the highlight of the stay, for sure! Overall it was awesome and we’d definitely stay again if we’re ever in Oslo again.

Thon Rosenkrantz is a beautiful hotel which has been recently updated. Close to parliament and the Royal Palace. It’s about a 15 minute walk of the train station and 20 minutes to the waterfront and opera house

Wonderful Hotel
This hotel was a gem of a find. Right in the heart of things with even tram service just a minute away. Everyone working there was happy and helpful, and you felt that they really appreciated your staying with them. And the breakfast!!!! A special shout out to Stean and Pete at the desk who ember above and beyond to help us with restaurants, taxi, etc.

The hotel was in a great location with easy access to the tram and a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room size was comparable to other city hotels and was very well sound proofed and has good amenities. The breakfast was one of the best we have had with options to cater for all tastes. The staff were attentive and helpful.
