The pools are wonderful. Check in is a bit different, though there were 2 staff sitting behind the counter, you use a kiosk, check in, then go to the counter where the staff gives you further info. Be aware when booking, if you choose the garden rooms, you are not near the pool, you are in a seperate building down the street and in an alley, those rooms are very dated as well. Our room sprung a ceiling leak, causing the bed to become soaked, including our suitcases.

Very good, clean, quiet property. All staff professional, polite and knowledgable. Two swimming pools, a "Cold Plunge" tub and 8 hot tubs with varying temps. Great location near hiking trails and city walking paths.

Immediately upon seeing the room, approximately 5-10 minutes after receiving the keys, I found it unsatisfactory because it had no dresser and it was dark from being the only unit with tiny windows and it was, frankly, disgusting and depressing. I immediately went to the front desk to tell them that I found the room unsatisfactory and to ask if we can get a different room and they said that no other rooms were available. I proceeded to ask ‘if we find other lodging, can I be refunded?’ to which they replied ‘no’, so we decided to stay. The next morning, I again went to the office explaining the unsatisfactory accommodation to see if a different room was available. The person with whom I spoke had to ask the manager who was not present at the time but would call me when they had a response. Several hours later I received a call saying that the room change fee is $50 and the other rooms would be more expensive than the one we had.

Checkin was ridiculously slow with waiting in line only to be told to use kiosk, and then kiosk saying room wasn't ready yet! BUT the pool and hot springs area are SO BEAUTIFUL surrounded by the mountains on all sides, TV in room DIDNT work except to give tv guide. We would come back and stay longer but in one of their remodeled rooms closer to pool!

Awesome family stay!
Great stay-could use some decor updating in rooms, but very clean and nice. Back window showed the river behind us but would have been nice to have a balcony to actually see it and enjoy it. I stayed in the area across the street so we had to walk over to the hot springs. Loved the hot springs area, bar tender super friendly, seemed a little understaffed for the weekend, long lines. Front desk was very accommodating, we didn’t have pool towels in our room and the contract says you will be charged $25 per towel if missing , so I made sure to notify them asap and they got us towels no problem. Great location, but Ouray is pretty small, everything nearby, adorable town. Would definitely recommend especially with access to hot springs with your hotel booking, very nice. Do Box Canyon falls nearby! Very pretty!
