Not much sleep in a loud motel.
I cannot imagine why this place got 8.4 rating. It is just your usual motel: nothing special. There was quite a bit of dust along the perimeter of the room (meaning, that it did not see a deep cleaning or any thorough cleaning in a while). The toilet paper holder was barely hanging form a cracked section of the wall and there was no sound insulation whatsoever. You could hear every single person/ party go down the corridor AND you can hear people in the next room using shower or flushing the toilet or just talking, which made for a pretty terrible night.

The hotel was generally well cared for. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The A/C in our room was a little loud, and the toilet had a tendency to keep running unless you jiggled/adjusted it each time you used it. The common areas were well kept, and the breakfast was good.

This hotel was lovely, simple and clean. Comfy beds great front desk staff. Pool area was nice, clean and relaxing. Exactly what we needed after a long day of orientation things at Miami University for our daughter. This hotel was very close to everywhere we needed to get throughout our stay for orientation.
