My recent stay at this charming coastal hotel in Paignton was nothing short of delightful. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short stroll from the seafront, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the beach, pier, and all the seaside attractions. Whether you're looking to explore or simply relax by the water, this hotel places you right in the heart of it all. The staff at this hotel truly made my stay memorable. We were on lower ground floor and think we were either under a staircase or the dining room - continuous noise!! Couldn’t even sleep! There were three of us and only one bath towel was provided. However the person on night duty was helpful with parking and the staff were generally nice and helpful. It is a plus that parking is available at the hotel, but it does fill up quickly in the evenings There is a big sign in the lift saying it periodically breaks down so would avoid using if you can…!

Room was clean, good size, only one hair shop and body wash which was by the sink, but could access from the shower, bit dated but nice, beds little stiff for my liking, but still slept well, great view of the park and sea view, breakfast lovely, staff lovely

A pleasant trip to Paignton for the weekend, but the Marine Hotel has definitely seen better days. Staff were very pleasant, bedroom and breakfast was fine. However there was very little water pressure to the shower, which meant it was nothing more than a trickle. The hotel car park layout is extremely poor, and you need your wits about you to enter and exit it without damaging your car.

Location was very good, staff eager to help. Food was very good with a good variety of menu items. Evening entertainment provided meant you could stay in the hotel although, as usual with hotels, drinks were rather expensive. All in all we would stay again.

Terribly under staffed and unorganised when we arrived. The room was clean, tidy and pleasant although the pillows were rock hard as was the mattress, but that's down to personal preference. The bar didn't have much choice on draft.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had parking space only on the first day as on the next one we took a trip by car and at the arrival we had to find a space outside the hotel for extra payment…the WC was not clean,the breakfast was poor,the fork still had the previous guest’s food on it.next to the bed there was a huge patch on the rug.
