Camp Helen State Park is a hidden gem on the western border of Panama City Beach. It sits between the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell - one of the largest coastal dune lakes in the state of Florida. Thunder Beach is a biannual motorcycle rally in Panama City Beach, Florida that first began in 1999. The event occurs in the first weekend of May and October each year and spreads across seven venues in the Panama City Beach area.

The 5th Annual Jam on the Coast 5K will take place May 31, 2025 in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida. The race begins and ends in Frank Brown Park at the entrance of the Gulf Coast Jam. Register today, only 400 runners can participate!

Daybreak 76® Panama City Beach Marathon, will be on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The 26.2 mile race is a staple for the panhandle and attracts thousands of both residents and visitors to Panama City Beach.
