The hotel rooms were rundown needed a fresh coat of paint and new furniture. The little bugs that bite you when outside they gave you repellent but it didn't work. The water known one went swimming.

Property was great as expected for a Dreams. Laundry wouldn't return my clothes until I came down and gave them a credit card, I thought that was weird, usually take care of that at check out. Twice room service didn't answer their phone. The steak at the french restaurant was perfect, omelette lady in the AM was great too. Bartenders got overwhelmed at the non premium side but all in all a great experience and would go back.

The staff at this property is very hit and miss if you don’t speak Spanish. You will find staff that is very helpful and you will find staff that will completely ignore you if you are black and don’t speak the language this resort was extremely prejudice and customer service is not their strong suit, the resort at this location they look at you and think that you’re only spending money if you’re Caucasian, which is not the truth I had more fun off of the resort with locals and everyone else as opposed to being on this resort I hated it there. I was very miserable. I couldn’t get an all inclusive resort. I couldn’t get basic food , I hated the six days I spent there. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

The food was great! The staff was also amazing very nice and always greeting you every time the see you. I like the lobby area it’s very big and I could get my virgin pina colada’s every day at any time

Hotel was in the middles of rain forest away from all nigh life and property was surrounded by wild life possums, plenty of raccoons at night lizards and and some sloths but this was not the issue the issue was the raccoons and given that the hotel have rooms on the outside please if you stay here keep your room service plates inside for housekeeping. The outdoor hallways will be over a with raccoons during the night and as far of the dining option of the 4-5 eateries many of which are formal don’t offer variety. The best from far was the seafood restaurant. Hands down of all the eateries this offered the better quality and better tasting menus . It’s a seafood restaurant but meat options were available.

I was there for my friends birthday, I was told that she would get a cake at her birthday dinner and a banner on her door and when it came to the date of her birthday, none of that happened. And the staff acted like they had heard none of this before after I had confirmed with them times. I also bought sunscreen at the gift shop that I did not get the discount for due to the pool not being open and it did not prevent burning one bit. I put it on four separate times every two hours and I burnt straight through meaning this sunscreen should not be in the shop. Also, when they clean your room daily, they do not clean the floors. Also, we had no idea that there was an activity area where they did nighttime activities for adults on the back of the property because no one told us about the app nor did any of the staff direct us to when we would talk to them about what was going on. We found it on our own the last day before we were going to leave. All in all I will not need to stay again. It was fine, but definitely not the worth of money we paid.

The Dreams Playa Bonita Resort is an excellent all-inclusive resort. My wife and I enjoyed all the amenities as well as the food and beverage options. There are three restaurants, the Oceana (seafood), Bordeaux (French), and Portofino (Italian) as well as a buffet option and snack bar. Further, the service was amazing. We had a minor issue with the room originally assigned to us, but the resort staff addressed the problem and immediately resolved the issue. I highly recommend this resort.

The food isn’t bad but it could be better, If you’re not a picky person with how your food tastes you will be fine. The resort itself was beautiful and breathtaking and looks and feels better in person than in photos. The people are very nice too!

I did not like the fact that there were so many insects, have to be careful with your drinks because they fly right in them. Was also bitten up badly by what I believe were mosquitoes.
