The room was nice. The view was nice. However, our room didn’t get cleaned for over 24 hours. We ran out of toilet paper it took forever for someone to bring it. I called the front desk 3x for toilet paper multiple times for towels. It was like begging for the basics. I was Very surprised because this is a Hilton property.

Hotel location was excellent. However, took almost an hour to get out of parking garage because system was down. On top of that, upon arriving back to the hotel, room key was disabled. Directed by hotel staff to stand on line that stretched the entire perimeter of the hotel lobby just to get room key reactivated which took over an hour because of check-in delays (again attributed to systems being down). Hotel blamed parking garage. Garage blamed hotel integration. No one expressed any accountability. Unfortunate experience.

The beds suck. Both bed sunk in the middle very badly. I have a very bad back and the bed had to be the worst bed I have ever slept in. Everything else was very nice.

Neither the hot water nor the outlet worked on my second night. When I spoke to the hotel, no efforts were made to remediate the issue or to offer a different room. Rather, I was given a $50 credit, which I don't think was adequate.

Avoid at all cost.
Was off to a bad start with the rude baggage handler in the lobby. First room had non-fonctioning AC, and we could barely turn off the shower. Had to request a room change at 10:30pm. Second room was in just as bad of a condition as the first one, but at least the AC was working. It was a room for 4 people, and only had 3 towels. This hotel is long overdue for a major remodel; it’s old, outdated, and in bad condition. Not worth the price at all. We’ve stayed in much nicer 2-star hotels compared to this supposed “4-star” Doubletree.

Bathroom was in terrible shape—needs a refresh. Also, it didn’t have one single hook for hanging up clothes or towels, which is such an easy improvement to make.

Oooof. Have stayed at a lot of Philly hotels and this is by far my worst experience - probably the only bad experience. Starting with check in. The line was EXTREMELY long to check in and they only had one person working at the time - keep in mind this was at approx 3/330pm which was check in time. Unacceptable. We decided to leave and attempt to check in after our days events. Came back at 11pm and another long line. This time luckily they had 2 people working but the process was still extremely slow. They tried to give out some cookies to smooth things over - i'd rather the manager help out with check ins then give out some cookies. Room looked good at 1st but after spending some time in there, the sheets had some stains on them. We saw a mouse and called to ask for a new room. No luck, but they said they would send someone up. It took over an hour for anyone to show up. In the meantime I tried to hunt down the mouse myself. No luck but did discover plenty of droppings. Another note from the night - bar closed around 10:30-11pm which is WAY too early for a friday night. Next morning we went to breaking at the Balcony. Service was ok, but the breakfast was sub-par. $25 a person for buffet was extreme. Tried to use the bathroom there but it was covered in piss and feces. Unusable. Check in FAIL Room FAIL Service FAIL Restaurant and breakfast FAIL Bathroom FAIL Location was good, so I'll give them that. But never again - mgmt should be embarrased

Cleaning staff came whenever they wanted e.g. 2 pm, even when an issue in the room was reported in the morning. Front desk staff overwhelmed. Busboys disappeared for long stretches of time.

Small but cute room. View was nice when standing due to blocking furniture. Cracked painted ceiling that needed a touch-up. Unsightly scraping off of the paint and gauges on the bathroom door bottom.
