We really enjoyed our stay (twice!) at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. It's in a great location - & was very centrally located to explore all the Philadelphia sights & to do some shopping. The quality of the rooms was very good & the staff were friendly & helpful. The food at the Red Owl Tavern next door was excellent - as was the complimentary wine hour held each night. A real bonus, that's for sure!

Cool artsey hotel .
It was a great room , we did run out of tissues . The free breakfast was not free . We had to pay for coffee . $5 ea . And the turkey jerky at front desk we purchased was not edible , so returned it .

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Property is clean and well cared for. Staff is friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean amd comfortable with good amentities. Area around hotel is great for walking the historic old city. Close to attractions and public transportation.

Staff was very friendly. I did have to ask for drink and breakfast tickets as those didn’t auto show up for hotel from Expedia booking, but they provided them quickly without trouble. Room was great, bathroom great. Ther restaurant has a great burger. Would stay again.

Rundown Hotel
Hotel is rundown and not well maintained. Lobby carpet has dirt stains all over it. Bathroom caulk in tub was moldy. Location is across the street from Independence Hall. Parking is additional cost.

The hotel was comfortable. Our room was clean and very quiet. The water pressure was ridiculous. We would turn the shower on and let it run about 10 minutes to get it hot enough for a shower. Our showers took twice as long as we had to stand under the dribble to rinse shampoo out of our hair. I know they’re trying to save the planet, but how does forcing people to take 25 minute showers doing that? The location of this hotel is perfect-right across the street from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Walking distance to all historic sites.
