My friends and I recently had a mini staycation to celebrate a birthday. The valet and bell staff were amazing. Very helpful and super friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Our rooms werent ready yet which was fine. We went to the spa and had a couple of treatments. Delightful! I received a message that my room was ready so the bellman hauled our luggage upstairs and helped me get settled. The room was spacious and clean. The bathrooms are very spacios so we had plenty of space to get ready for a night out. We reserved bottle service in the Palo Verde lounge, danced to a great band, and the bartenders and waitress assigned to outlr group were fantastic! So much fun. I miss the buffet, but ive eaten at a couple of the restaurants and the food is very good.

Check in process is by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with at a hotel. They changed there computer system, but made it our reaponsibility to show them our reservation three different times. We had a 2 day stay booked, and they checked us out after day one ,then made us confirm the 2 day reservation because they didnt believe us.Their was no accountability amongst the staff dealing with the new system. The one employee blamed the other person originally checking us in on the one day check out mix up ,who was her manager . All in all , the majority of the staff were unfriendly, unaccommadating, and did not seem they enjoyed working there.

The "Talking Stick Resort" in Scottsdale is, in reality, a 35 to 45 minute drive to the "Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre", which is in Phoenix out by Tolleson. The hotel in Scottsdale was full of folks there to see bands at the "Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre", believing that the venue was in the resort. Everyone found out the hard way that the Amphitheatre was not actually in, or anywhere near, the resort. Complete waste of everyone's time and money. No notice, apologies, etc. from the hotel. Employees said they see it all the time.

Unexpectedly booked this hotel expecting it to be part of the amphitheater. It was a nice place though quite far from the amphitheater bearing the talking stick name. Recommend clarity somehow on the site.

The bathroom was really nice, I didn’t really like the valet parking situation. Room service food was pretty good. The blankets in the room sucked the tv had like 15 channels. You would think for a luxury resort there would be more perks to the hotel.

Both beds in our room were horrible. Mattress’es were so worn out when you sat on them your rear end hit the box springs. We got very little sleep. We will never stay there again

The hotel was nice, clean, modern and had things nearby to do. I would probably stay here again, but the Expedia VIP experience did nothing for us. The hotel told us that if we would have booked direct they would have waived the resort fees since we were residents. So perhaps the better deal is through the hotel. We also got put on the side of the hotel without a good view, but just a view of the parking garage and highway.

First time at Talking Stick Resort. I was impressed with the elegant room and how quiet it was. Overall, the resort is beautiful and most people super friendly. However, I encountered rude staff at the Spa and one of the restaurants forgot my order and left me waiting for over an hour and instead of offering me a free drink or a discount, the waitress brought me a plate full of plain lettuce to eat while waiting for another 20 min. Awful customer service at the Blue Cantina Mexican restaurant.

Very nice. Learned how to play black Jack, good deal for veterans, very accommodating, 24/7 pool, good food, walked to top golf across the street, target and other shopping/food less than a mile away. Nice staff. Already planning to come back.

Great place to stay bed was a bit hard but I’m sure that’s a personal preference thing. Mb they should assign rooms based on bed size and firmness of the mattress.

The taxi service they have was really amazung. Needed simething urgently from target and the front desk was kind enough to have their taxi take me. What a bonus service , lived it.
