Sorry but everything is terrible in this hotel. We booked a jacuzzi suite, oceanview and the room is located in a "creepy", dark, floor. Everything you see and feel is concrete-so expect nothing but very hot temperarure anywhere. The lobby is extremely HOT, staff greet you in agony due to this condition so expect attitude-not the usual smile thais are known for. The main restaurabt by the pool is extremely hot too-we didnt enjoy the over priced food. This hotel should consider installing ACs their common areas esp at the lobby anf the restaurant. Also, our room was poorly cleaned during our 5 nights stay. On our third day we asked the cleaning lady to clean our room again since she only fixef the beddings and thats it, vut she refused to, saying she already did. We didnt argue anymore, oh well. On our 5th night we booked a room on the hotel next to it, and returned to check out the following day. I will never go back here.

This hotel is high-end and the service is just through the roof excellent. For example, it was my birthday during the stay but we didn't tell anyone. They surprise us at breakfast with a birthday cake and staff well wishes. The property is immaculate and the rooms are decorated in a traditional Thai manner, not like a corporate hotel. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great hotel, clean, quiet, 2 great swimming pools, excellent beauty studio services, big selection at breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the lift wasn’t working to my elderly mums room on the 3rd floor, she found it very difficult going up and down the stairs. The hotel is on a cliff so be aware there are a lot of steps.

Outdated and in a bad location. I had an ocean front, but it was hard to see through dirty windows that were sealed shot. To get hot water in the shower, had to run the water for 5 minutes. Paint coming off, etc. Not a good location. Would not come back

Over the hotel was nice . But i was let down when i got food poisoning. The bar manger and chif did come and speek with me witch was good. I know things like this happen. But it would have to be give some form of compensation. At the end of day i did lose 3 days of my holiday and had to nearly 11000 tbh on my IV and medication.

Our first time in Phuket. After reading many reviews, we decided to stay at Diamond Cliff. The check in was slow and not very good service. The room was clean but we could not relax or nap due to the constant noise from the construction. We were not informed about the construction right outside of our room. It was constant knocking, drilling, banging, welding, from 9am-6pm. We couldn’t nap or relax. The service at the bar and restaurant were not good. It seems like they select who to provide better service and it seems like “white” folks receive better service.

The pools were fantastic, breakfast was great and room was spacious and clean, perfect for our family. We upgraded to sea view but in my opinion was not really, only from an angle from the far side of balcony, didn’t like facing the road with loud trucks. Also, so many stairs throughout the property!

Phuket is very slummy. There are some good enough decent shops if you can stand the smell of the place. Best to head out and do island tours.The resort itself is nice.

Missed Indian food and hospitality
Property was good overall. All the facilities were available but there was lack of courtesy in the staff, particularly waiters in the hotel at buffet area. Also though food was good but somehow we missed Indian food over there. There was not a single option available for Indian food in the menu. Why so? You can see lot of Indian tourists in Thailand. Why no importance has been given to Indian food in this hotel? It’s a 5 star.
