Beautiful property Sarya (apologies for the name spelling) at the front desk was wonderful. She was very welcoming and explained the amenities of the property very clear . She was very friendly. The order taker that worked in In room dinning on Monday evening September 16 was very rude and not helpful. He seems like he did not want to be there to work . Otherwise everyone else was very nice and friendly. I will return there next time.

From arrival and the two days that followed where excellent .. Booking for excursions was excellent. Communication using the app was easy and fast service with housekeeping and refilling the fridge. Second time service at Santa Fe restaurant was disappointing, slow service and cold food. Service at most restaurants didn’t really accommodate for a big group of seven people . Cats on the resort was a surprise cute but become annoying as they fight as well and some guests tend to feed them making them come back. Breakfast buffet was amazing and service was excellent. Pool was dirty for the rest of our stay tho not so appealing or enjoyable.

we LOVED everything at El Dorado Royale- very clean-the food is amazing, the staff very friendly. The only thing i would say could improve is the rides it does take quite a while to get picked up.

I sat and thought about it for a day and a half and it was actually nothing I found unique or that I truly liked about the property .I did not realize I had any type of VIP service because it never felt like it once. The only good meal was the breakfast room service was unedible the majority of the time most of the restaurants are very far one night had to walk about 45 minutes one way just to eat a meal that was horrible and I have a medical condition with my knees when I spoke to the manager the next day I asked him where the golfcarts were that was supposed to be picking us up throughout the evening he said oh last night the owners of the resort were there and they were using them for their personal use ! I was absolutely floored! so I was the answer to my VIP service the following day I couldn't walk I had ice on my knee at the pool all day. Our room was absolutely filthy the whole trip no matter how much I left in the room for a tip or what I asked them to do literally filthy I wish I could add pictures I have so many! I absolutely do not recommend this Resort it was one of the worst I've ever been to

This was our 5th time here. We absolutely love this resort. The food is fantastic, the drinks are fabulous. The staff is so friendly. Our favorite was Roberto, he served us breakfast and we saw him again while eating our pizza. Loved the fact that he remembered us from last year too. Such a happy and pleasant atmosphere, wherever we go. The entertainment at night was incredible ( the acrobatic show). We would go to the Martini bar after dinner and try a new martini every night. This resort does not disappoint. We have always enjoyed our time here. So peaceful and relaxing! We will definitely be returning again. We have tried several other resorts through the years and we find our way back to El Dorado. Zero complaints here! There’s just no comparing! They do a fantastic job to keep everyone safe and comfortable!!! See yall next year El Dorado Royale!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at El Dorado Royale The staff are welcoming, helpful and kind. The facilities are well kept, consistently maintained and of excellent quality. The resort is big enough that nothing was too busy but small enough that you can walk around with no trouble, or there are shuttles to take you where you want to go, though their timing seems quite random. Each restaurant offered something unique and you won't find yourself bored of the food. I stayed here for 8 nights and ate somewhere different every night. The more inclusive package's beach trip and catamaran ride was incredible and the snorkeling alone made it good value. This also gave us access to another trip to a ranch which we didn't get around to doing. There are activities to do around the resort daily. We did rifle shooting one day. In the evening there is entertainment on which was fun and there's a bar open until late every night. Booking activities through the travel department was easy enough though not cheap. Be prepared to pay if you're interested in the days out but they are good trips. They will pick you up from the hotel for whatever you're doing and drop you off afterwards so it's quite stress free. The only (minor)issue I had during my stay was a small pest problem where the Coatis would get at the plates left outside rooms after room service and make noise and leave a mess. One seemed to be living in a boxoutside our room but not much was done about it after I made the staff aware.
