Step inside your newly renovated cottage and unwind in the peaceful natural surrounds of Mount Buffalo National Park, literally a skip from your front door.
Your cosy cottage, ideally suited to 2 couples features everything you could need to relax and forget about the rest of the world!

The open plan living area features a huge window to bring the mountain surrounds in as you curl up by the wood fire. Enjoy quality entertainment with your large TV/DVD and DVD from the collection or challenge yourself on the WII with a range of games & accessories. There are also plenty of board games to keep you occupied.

The split system ensures comfort year round.

Whip up a meal in your fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher or enjoy a drink around the stylish breakfast bar. Dine inside or soak up the fresh air and views on the sunny front deck with gas BBQ.

2 bedrooms with queen beds serve as retreats for couples or families. Each bedroom features a flat screen TV, lounge and reverse cycle heating & cooling to enjoy your own space. All bedding & linen is provided.

Brilliant 2 bedroomed property with everything you could think of for a family of 4 (though the kids might have to share as it has 2 queen sized beds). Beds were comfy and the bedrooms were a great size with a tiny seating area and large TV in both. Lots of space in and outside of the house- with a BBQ area in the backyard and outdoor lounge and large table in the front yard, shaded by a large tree in the afternoon. We spent quite a bit of time outside as the weather was nice. Kitchen is fully equipped as is the laundry. The kids loved the Wii which kept them busy. There is also a fireplace which we were grateful it was cold enough one of the days so we could use it! So cosy, and our cat did not move from in front of the fire all day. The only downside to booking this property was the poorly written information between wotif.com and Alpine Valley Getaways who the property is run by about being pet friendly. Allegedly, this only applies to dogs which we found out after we had paid for this accommodation and tried to complete the online check process. The information was totally absent from wotif.com and in one tiny section of the terms and conditions on the AVG website that cats were not allowed. The language used was pet friendly and well behaved 4 legged pets. We were only allowed to take our cat post discussing with AVG over what a 4 legged pet was. In future, both sites need to use correct language in their ads. Pet friendly and dog only are very different concepts.

Spiders everywhere

As told before and photos are our backup BBQ could not be used because of cobwebs everywhere it was not cleaned , spiders webs on all external windows and wasps and there nests all along the front eves.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location

House has everything you could want, including enough cutlery and crockery etc for when friends come over for a BBQ. We loved log the fire (so did our dog!) and misty mornings. Communications with managers was excellent. Comfy beds, great storage, fabulous deck with stunning views out the front. If Mount Buffalo is your favourite place in the world then this spot is for you, great walks nearby (including the Big Walk) we will certainly be back.

Perfect getaway

Comfortable, no stress, we’ll appointed house, perfect to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and a view of the mountain. Plenty of bird life. Also very welcoming to our dog who had a lovely time too.

Location was great - so close to National Park It was very quiet and peaceful Huge trees at the front, garden was nice The house had all the required amenities - we loved the Wi games.. The only disappointment was that it looked tired from the perspective of cleanliness. The microwave was dirty - food crumbs still in the microwave; there was hair in the freezer! and the fridge shelves hadn't being wiped clean properly It was dusty and the back and front deck looked like it hadn't been swept for a long time - stools, chairs, tables were dusty and cobwebs and rubbish easily seen...the bathroom also had hair in the shower....the couch had old lolly wrappers under the cushions too... I like the property for its location and price was reasonable, but we were let down by the standard of cleaning. Probably wouldn't go back again - but it was ok for what we needed it for... The owners or managers did text us to see if we were ok before checking in - so That was nice... It had a good backyard- but not so good for our senior dogs as they had difficulty getting up the steep stairs to access the lawn area... Overall it was good - but it could have been greater if the cleaning was better

Lovely location

I brought my dog and unfortunately every time we stepped outside the dog next door went into a barking frenzy. My dog doesn’t respond but it was a shame to have that anytime we walked outside. Cute accommodation and very relaxing. Very clean. Fenced yard good if you don’t have a dog that jumps fences as not very high. Once again, refer to the highly excitable next door dog... mine doesn’t react so not a problem but something to be aware of.
