Overnight stay prior heading to the airport the next morning. A very nice hotel, with clean rooms. I had slightly patchy internet on occasion, but nothing really disruptive. Easy access to the mall next door. Staff were friendly. No issue with recommending.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Port Moresby, and The Stanley is my favourite. There are a lot of things to love. First if you like a hotel with a great pool, then the Stanley is for you. I’ve noticed that at other POM hotels the pools are often located very near the restaurant, which can make you feel a little self conscious about being in a bathing suit in front of all the diners. At the Stanley the pool is both large and is on the 5th floor, with its own dedicated space not anywhere near the main restaurant, which is on the ground floor. Another thing to love about the Stanley is its fabulous gym — lots of treadmills, bikes, weight machines, and a separate room where you can stretch. I also loved my room, which was large, quiet, and had a comfortable bed and good TV options. And I loved the plush carpeting in the hallways — really, really soft. Room service was good and fast. And the breakfast buffet was delicious.

This property has so many amenities -- the pool, weight room, multiple dining options and ready access to the mall were all excellent. Overall the staff were responsive, professional and helpful. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I did not find myself missing anything I needed.

Great stay at the Stanley. Was able to check-in early and use the Executive Lounge which is by far the best in Port Moresby. Room was clean and comfy, staff attentive, and dining options quite good. Definitely staying there again.

Nice hotel for a couple days in POM. Rooms are clean, quiet, and reasonably spacious. The lack of traveler amenity kits was quite noticeable, though. Staff at front desk and in lounge were all friendly and attentive. Lounge offerings were decent, but perhaps not quite five-star. Being attached to the Vision City mall is a big plus. Easy and safe access to both shopping and dining is huge given the general lack of walkability in POM.

My kids and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is new and modern; the gym and pool were a big hit. Access to VC was a bonus. Only problem we had was I booked for 4 but we only ever had 2 towels supplied and we had to keep ringing room service to bring us extra towels. Apart from that very happy; would highly recommend to family and friends.

My stay in Stanley was comfortable and great. It’s a perfect spot to have a vacation or just a fun night at. Plus it’s convenient with the mall right next to it. Though they could improve the shampoo and conditioner 😅
