Adequate motel with great location
While the decor and look isn’t much this motel checks the necessary boxes. They also go out of their way to serve up a continental breakfast in a little breakfast room. The lady at the desk was very nice, and it wasn’t too noisy despite being on the main road. Super convenient to FDR library, Valkill, and Vanderbilt mansion.

Highly recommend!
This was probably the nicest old-style motel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room was very cute. It was also one of the best continental breakfasts—no hot food, but good variety of pastries (love the multigrain options!) Well maintained and obvious pride in the business!

Great hotel
Great hotel, family owned. Big room (they probably vary). Walking distance to Vanderbilt Mansion property for walks. Breakfast nice, though all carbs. Small round toilet bowl; always a pet peeve.
