Excellent property but the elevators were down and I was dealing with orthoarthiritis situation in my knees. Climbing up and down on an i jured knee was not fun at all. But the staff was awesome, the brought my ice and helped is with our bags and it all worked out. I loved the room decor and the bed was firm yet cozy. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully with a full knee recovery.

Loved that it is an Historic Property and that it is being restored in small sections at a time. It didn't affect our stay in any way. Loved that there is a lovely Bistro attached to the property and we enjoyed a good dinner there with a very friendly and attentive Staff. We would absolutely stay there again! Prescott is one of our favorite places for a relaxing long weekend.

Iā€™m handicapped and found out when we checked in that the elevator was not working. They said they would take our luggage up, but did not. There was no maid service, so the bed was not made when we returned and no clean towels. Really disappointing as we have stayed there many times before and it was great. Now we will never stay there again!

It was an historic hotel that wasn't too expensive. But the rooms were all redone and maintained the historic charm. They were small, but that's what I expected, but good use of the space. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and it was great. Would have went for dinner but wanted to try a different place. Front desk was very accommodating as well as the bartender in the lobby bar. Would definitely stay her again

Love staying in historic properties. The HSM is located on Whiskey Row, so you can't get more historic than that. Our king room was in great shape, especially the bathroom. Hallways looked a bit worn though; refurbishment needed there. The lounge/bar was very spacious and well-appointed. Parking, however was another story, as there is no parking specifically for the hotel - you have to park in the public parking garage behind the property. Overall, a good place to stay
