The bathroom sink was ridiculously small
The staff were wonderful, but the place needs a lot of cleaning and updating. The bathroom sink was ridiculous; too small to even wash your hands. The room was ok, but the bathroom was deplorable; very old and dirty. The location is beautiful, and the pool is a plus. With renovations and lots of cleaning, this place could be very nice.

Property old and tired but in perfect location. Property recently changed hands and prices have risen with added resort fees . Coffee availability in the morning has been removed and very poor and limited coffee in the room is not a true option for coffee drinkers unless you wait until 7:30 and have the coffee with the $20 buffet breakfast. Inn is same as always otherwise, with no extras to justify the price increase..Still the best deal in Ptown as location and expansive parking is true advantage, with close proximity to beach and large pool. Just bring your own Coffee maker!!

Check-in didn’t happen until after 4pm. They are short staffed and apparently couldn’t ready the rooms. When we finally checked in, the room was nice. The next morning we r found that they never cleaned the coffee maker. We stayed theee nights…the staff never cleaned our room the whole time.

I did not find the rooms very clean. There was a broken chair to sit in on my deck. When I went to get coffee at 7 which is what the sign said. they said it didn't open until 730. The laminate flooring was detaching from the floor as you walke. we went with a group of friends many of the rooms were not when ready until 6pm I turned on the shower tons of flies came out of the drain. Hair was on the walls in the bathroom. The cleanliness was not there. Rooms had plenty of space beds were comfy. Great location. Neat hotel just unclean feeling.

The Ptown inn is a decent place for the money compared to other lodging options in Ptown. However that doesn’t mean it’s a great value for the money. We got our room at 2pm the day of check in. The room was spartan and looked clean—however we soon realized there were various hairs on the duvet cover as well as in the bathroom sink and shower. The shower itself had soap, shampoo, and conditioner containers that were all essentially empty. And the carpeting in the hallways was grungy looking.

The area is absolutely gorgeous. It’s right on the water and it has a pool. But that’s about all this place has going for itself. The rooms were very unkept. Dust on phones and lamps, spider webs in the corner. Bathroom had paint splattered on the floor. We requested a microwave before we arrived. Went to our room, was not there. Reminded them again on our first day her. Well 2 days of staying, we still never got it. If you are just looking for somewhere to rest your head, this place willl do. But don’t expect much else

Our stay was disappointing from the start. We arrived at check-in time, but our room wasn't ready for nearly two hours. The only explanation provided was that the hotel was short-staffed. We weren't given any estimated time for room availability or offered any accommodations while waiting. The delay forced us to rush to make our dinner reservation. Once we finally accessed our room, we quickly showered and prepared to leave. We had music playing and while I was brushing my teeth, naked and just out of the shower, housekeeping entered without knocking. They opened the door wide, exposing me to hotel staff and guests in the hallway. The staff member only offered a brief apology before abruptly shutting the door. Overall, the hotel appeared shabby, and we encountered an unexpectedly high number of lackluster experiences during our stay. The lack of professionalism and attention to guest privacy was particularly concerning

Poor service, great location
We arrived shortly after check in time and our room wasn’t ready. We didn’t get our room until after 8pm. There was still trash in our room from previous guests and only 3 towels when we were registered as a family of 4. The room location was perfect for have a 5 and 7 yo and it is super convenient to get in and out of town. So many activities to keep everyone busy - big plus!
