BE AWARE : NOT a PET friendly hotel. MISLEADING booking process on Expedia as well. We booked via Expedia where it is indicated "pet friendly." but no extra charge applied. when we arrived they decided to charge a $50 fee per night for the dog. As we complained for the misleading presentation on Expedia, they offered a free parking charge ($30 a night) which we felt was cheap so we asked for a full refund of the pet charge and they refused, saving $20 for themselves. They switched us from a renovated room (booked) to the worst area of the hotel and a very old room with no light.

This is worst hotel experience I ever had in my 30 years of travelling history. I chose this hotel due to its location and pet-friendly policy. Upon arrival, we were given the worst possible room. I understand with a dog, hotels usually have certain rooms reserved for the guests. I have been in different hotels withe my 14lbs well behaved dog and never felt bad about the room I was given. But this one was at a corner almost make me feel I was in their staff working area and right on the street with many restaurants/bar outside my window. Meanwhile, my friend who booked at the same time for the same price had a much nicer room on a normal floor. The hotel main door floor was made with metal grid with very skinny but deep gaps. Unless you bend down and look very closely, you won't see the details. My dog's nails got caught in the gaps and with the revolving door turning, he lost 3 nails and bled a lot soaked through my shirt, pants, bags, his leash etc.. I had to get him to an emergency clinic for treatment right away then terminated my trip plan to return home for further treatment. It was horrible experience. When we mentioned the the front desk that this metal floor at the door is not safe for any dogs and since they are pet friendly hotel, they should be aware of it, the person asked me rudely why didn't you use the regular door? Sure I should and could have. But my dog has been going with me everywhere using all kinds of doors including revolving doors all the time.

Location is perfect for walking and exploring surroundings. The room was spacious and clean. The gym, pool area and spa were clean and stocked with towels. Highly recommend!
