Lovely owners who were genuinely keen to make sure my experience there was a good one. Cosy clean rooms, clean shared bathrooms, shared kitchenette. Very conveniently located in the middle of town, and with dining options. Definitely will be staying there again!

Great location if your going on the Blues Train, an easy 10 min walk. Our room although small, was clean & bright and the bed was comfy. Dont be put off re the shared bathrooms, they are clean and functional. Would stay here again.

Quaint property, needs more attention to detail, curtains are stained and are not blockout, could use mattress protectors. The showers in the ladies was weak and ineffective.

It is like old fashioned pub accommodation, but is much quieter and has much better decor and comfort features. My room was clean and I had a good night's sleep.

I liked the charm of the old building and the price of the room. What I didn’t like was - 1. Nobody to welcome us at checkin, just a text message with our room number and key 2. No comfortable lounge area that you would expect in a guest house 3. No water pressure in the female shower 4. None working smoke alarm in room 5. My husband said hello to a gentleman, not sure who he was but we think he may have been the owner. He did not introduce himself nor did he ask who we were * I suppose you get what you pay for but I would have expected more

While the building has character, everything is in need of a refresh, especially the men's bathroom. I am happy to share bathroom facilities, but didn't realise it was a shared bathroom between many rooms. One toilet and a shower is not sufficient for the amount of guests staying. Room was clean, but the bed was very wonky.

Loved the style of an old-world Hotel, sitting outside on a balmy summer evening with my wife and other guests combined with great food and wine made for a highly enjoyable stay. Sally and Chris went out of their way to provide excellent genuine hospitality

The location and building are outstanding, especially as everything was within walking distance. Parking was easy too. It was a shame that the little things were missing...milk for the tea and coffee, clean cups and spoons, enough toilet paper for the bathroom and water pressure for the shower.

Rooms are small but enough for one night. There is not a kitchen just a kettle with tea. Kettle is in the room as well. To get water and wash your cup you have to go to toilet. Too expensive for what you get, but hotel looks nice. It's like it says an old building.

Just enough for an overnight stay
Wasn't expecting too much since it was kind of cheap but the mattress was really bad, men's bathroom was bit dirty and afterall, $125 felt too much for what we got. I wouldn't expend too long in this place, but for an overnight stay, it'd do it
