Convenient downtown hotel
The hotel is a bit dated but convenient for visiting Regina. Parking is limited and cost extra if you book through a 3rd party. Casino 1 block north, Timmies 1 block east, shopping 1 block west.

I booked through Expedia, when I arrived they turned me away because I had no credit card for a damage deposit… I could have paid $500 cash/debit as a deposit but was refused as it’s policy… I was then refused a refund of roughly $150 for my reservation as they don’t refund for cancellations. I did NOT cancel, I was denied my reservation. If taking money for a room reservation, turning guests away, and then keeping the funds for services not rendered is your policy… that’s not a business, that is robbery… actual theft. It is an absolute scam!

The rooms we booked were not as described by Expedia. They were advertised as having one Queen bed and two sofa beds, but they only had one sofa bed. They did, however, provide us with a cot when we brought this to their attention.

There are white marks all over the wallpaper in the bathroom. Like they are doing Reno’s. I found hair in 2 different spots in the bathroom that are not mine. I expected better for the amount I paid for the room. I liked the size of the room. Nice and spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable.

Stood in line for 20 min to check in. Hotel was pretty much sold out. 1 person working and 1 computer. Got into the room and it had to had been 35 in there. Turned the A/c on and left. Got back 8 hours a little cooler but not much the A/C doesn’t work very good. Couldn’t sleep in bed cause it was so hot had to pull the hide-a-bed out, no sheet on it! Took them off then so I could lay on them and moved the hide-a-bed in front of the A/C unit so the little cold air that it did have could blow on me directly. Terrible, terrible, terrible

The only issue would be the back parking lot behind the building. There was a hole in the pavement that you had to straddle to get out. If you dropped a tire you would have needed a tow truck or a jack and blocks to get out. It was rediculouse deep.

The hotel was good and the staff were friendly. Be warned though that there is a lot of homeless people around who may appear unsettling but they did not bother us. Other than that the room was comfy and the bathroom was great. 4/5
