This was a very reasonably priced property. The amenities were clean. The flooring had some gaps that they tried to repair unsuccessfully in my room and that is the only reason for the markdown on the stars. It in no way impacted my stay.

Had a very good one-night stay at the Rockford Econolodge. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and adequately stocked with towels and essentials. Good breakfast room with a nice variety of foods and was kept very clean. I was a bit surprised by some of the reviews on this page. Just keep in mind that the Econolodge is a motel, designed for short stays, not luxury. It is one of the more ECONOmical options, so obviously it won’t have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive hotels. A few people made comments about the neighbourhood etc and safety concerns. Rest assured, it is safe. The motel is tucked in on a strip containing pretty much every chain hotel out there in many price ranges. You’ll be just fine!
