Perfect if all you want is a clean bed at the end of the day. We were inexperienced travellers at this point in our holiday so can’t really comment on location. Half hour walk with suitcases to train station. Traditional breakfast in the morning with beautiful fresh pastries. Close to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica.

Our charming little apartment was very comfortable, with a generous breakfast fresh from the bakery. Everything was very clean. The reception clerk met us and gave us an introduction to the local attractions and walking routes. We hope they are open when we visit Rome again.

We could not get ahold of the hotel to let them know we were going to be late and Expedia could not get ahold of either. The address and location they gave was not the main location and could not find the location only after ringing all residents in building did we finally find out how to get to our room. Found out they gave us the wrong phone number.

We stayed here for two days before our cruise. I chose this hotel due to the high ratings. Not sure what all the rage was! VERY hard to find. SMALL rooms that look absolutely NOTHING like the provided pictures! The breakfast was nice and the location was good too. No balconies or “courtyard” that we saw anywhere!

Wonderful stay!
Wonderful stay at this hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Hubby loved the coffee and the wine! Walkable to plenty of great restaurants and attractions and the metro/train/bus station is a 10-minute walk. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff that were accommodating to non-Italian speaking guests. Breakfast could use some work, maybe some fruit. Rare to be able to eat everything in the fridge provided by the hotel which was a treat. Loved the high ceilings in the room. Black out shutters which were amazing to help with the time change of travelling. Lots of good food around the hotel as well and a market across the street.

The Aenea Superior Inn was a pleasant surprise. All the staff, especially Giuseppe, were very pleasant and helpful. The Inn is tucked away in a building next to a church and was secure and quiet. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station; close but beyond the radius of any potential “unpredictable elements”. The Colleseum was a short 15 minute walk. The rooms were clean and spacious and easily accommodated our family of four. Breakfast was included; fresh bread and croissants were left on a basket outside our door in the morning.

Such a quaint hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was clean and excellent! We were provided all the basic amenities as well as some treats and drinks such as water, soda and cookies and yogurt. Early in the morning they dropped off a basket of pastries at our door. Highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in Rome !!
