I booked this hotel because my daughter and grandkids were already staying here. They paid 1/3 the price I did because I booked so late. This hotel is worth the lower price but not what I paid. It is a bare bones hotel with nothing beyond a place to lay your head at night. Nothing extremely negative to say, I just wouldn't stay here again. I prefer a hotel with more amenities and a bit nicer.

It's all about the location. 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. If you want luxury, it's not for you. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's a old hotel but we managed with our two teenagers in a 3 bed room and it was 37°C outside with an air conditioner that worked somewhat. Breakfast was boiled eggs that appeared to be free range by the colour of the yoke, cheese, sliced meats, fruit, yogurt, various buns, croissants, jams,juice and coffee,expresso and lattes. I thought about changing hotels but since we were only in Rome for 6 nights I figured A different experience for my boys would be good. After all, doing laundry in the shower builds character! It's an old part of Rome and why expect more!

The location, staff service and the amazing breakfast were perfect. The apartment itself asks for urgent upgrade, mainly the bathroom.

The only thing we did not like was this is no ice machine. I was lucky to get ice when I ask at the desk. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good.

Very close to Vatican city and many choice of restaurant around this area. Rooms are very neat and clean, excellent breakfast arrangement. Somehow, we feel a bit smelly inside the room though all room and washroom are clean.
