Things to Do in Rotterdam

Once you get settled into your Rotterdam accommodation, head to the Witte de Withstraat, where you'll be able to grab a bite to eat at a pub or one of the many restaurants. There are also boutiques and shops to explore to find souvenirs for your family and friends who weren’t lucky enough to visit in person. City Hall and the small neighbourhood of Delfshaven feature some of the only historic buildings around, as Rotterdam saw quite a bit of action during World War II. Residents turned this into a blessing as best they could, and many Rotterdam hotels and office buildings are works of modern art. To get a good look, head to the top of the Euromast Tower for a panoramic view of the city. Or, enjoy the water from above with a walk across the Erasmus Bridge—then reward yourself with a pint or three when you've made it to the other side.
