Great hotel, helpful staff, amazing view
Easy parking, helpful staff checking in, room has an absolutely oustanding view of Stretford Quay and the city center. Watched the sun go down and moon rise from the room wide window. Slept like baby too. Grabbed my drinks at the bar, went for a walk round tge Quay. Grabbed a pizza. Happy refreshed stay ready for a customer visit following morning.

Hotel decor is quite old (looks as though it hasn't been refurbished since the 1980s); bathroom extractor fans don't work - clearly a known issue as they have signs reminding guests to keep the doors closed so the steam doesn't trigger the fire alarm) Restaurant menu is limited - same options available in the bar, I would have liked to see a fish option (not just meat & vegetarian dishes(

Hotel is now in need of some tender loving care, furniture in the room was dated and we both found the bed uncomfortable. The cold water tap had no running water at all which we reported but this was not rectified while we were there. The window had a terrible draught coming through it. Communal areas need attention too in places, skirting board coming off, leaking drainpipes etc. Breakfast pretty standard but nice enough. The reception and breakfast staff were friendly. Hotel was in a good location for Salford Quays and the O2 Victoria Warehouse. Free on site parking was a bonus. Tram stops nearby too. Unfortunately we would not stay here again unless the hotel had been refurbished,

Great looking hotel, but.....
Hotel looks great. I booked a club room and to be honest I wouldn't like to see a standard one. My room was tired and dated, especially the bathroom, cracked tiles etc. But it was quiet and dark which is great.
