The Crockett Hotel, San Antonio, Texasrcd7
The Crockett Hotel is a good hotel in downtown San Antonio, Texas. It is near the Alamo and the Riverwalk and all the amenities that San Antonio has to offer. The valet parking is high, but they did give me a discount to park my car overnight. Staff assisted me in locating a nearby bicycle repair shop. The pool was under repair, but staff directed me across the street to a sister hotel which had a lovely pool. I have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again.

The staff were amazing. It was my Aunts 80th birthday, Eduardo A.went out of his waybto make this a memorable overnight stay for her. This is why I love this hotel. Its our stayaction and family hotel go to in San Antonio. A total hidden gem before during and after traffice construction. But honestly it the staff at tue front desk that make this place home

my new go to hotel in SA. For those not into partying, the live music in the Tavern was my deciding factor when choosing The Crockett. The food was great too! Valet is super fast, efficient and friendly!

A stone’s throw from the Alamo. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really great hotel bar with good food! Reasonably priced overall, though the room interior is looking a little tired, and the parking charges are quite steep (normal in San Antonio, I know, but $45 for valet parking in a lot that I could have driven into myself still seems a little excessive). Still, would happily stay again!

Loved this historic property. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great location downtown able to walk to most everything. Only downside is construction in the area but that won’t last forever.

A Gem near the Alamo and the Riverwalk.
The Crockett sits in a wonderful location, a stone’s throw from the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It handles is Crockett theme with fun and restraint, and the staff was spectacular in their attentiveness and service. Particular props to Eduardo Alcantar at the reception desk, who professionally handled his role with courtesy and humor, making us feel very welcome.

This hotel was charming on the outside but... The thermostat was broken and the windows don't open. It was quite a while before technicians were able to come fix it. Once this was fixed it was super-loud, but the room dropped below 80 and I was able to sleep. The pool looked a bit dingy but the one to which hotel guests also have access at the connected hotel across the street was absolutely lovely. . Staff were *great*, fixing me a pot of coffee when none was already made, very kind and accommodating.

Hidden cost
The Crockett Hotel is in a great location and has value. Remember it is a old building. In my case the mattress was not very good. The TV had problems and needed to be changed out. Cost is high. Valet Parking is $25.00 per night. State, city, county tax, PID fee and sales tax added up to $32.86 per night and for a 3 night stay it cost $98.50. San Antonio Texas is a great place to visit I just want you to know about the hidden cost.
