The hotel has a nice vibe as an older facility. The pluses are very nice bars and lobby area right on the river. You can sit outside and enjoy the river scene. The arrival margarita was a nice start to the stay. The room was a good size and quiet - we were not looking to hear the significant activity on the Riverwalk at night. It is about a 5-7 minute walk to the super crowded part of the Riverwalk, but you can enjoy a lot of things along the way. We took a nice walk in the opposite direction along the river one morning. The lobby is on the second floor but the entrance was always served by a porter. We did not eat at the hotel so no comment there.
