Not a bad place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are updated, but cheaply - floor is cracked in multiple places and the water for my shower never got hot - just lukewarm. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night - fire department came, but no one could get in touch with the property management. It was right by the highway - not a terrible place to stay, but there are better options. You get what you pay for.

It's a beautiful, recently remodeled hotel with several covered parking spots. Rooms are updated also. But instead of a key or card you get a 6-digit code to enter your room, and it always took several tries. The walls are thin, so I had to run the nice AC all night to block out the noise from the highway. The water took 5 minutes to get warm in the shower. And the TV is a Roku, so they had no local channels, and not the cable channel that had the NL Playoff game, so I missed it. The king size bed was very old and too soft.

The bathroom door does not have a proper door, so there is a complete lack of privacy. They have improvised a 'barn door' instead of a locking door. The room is clean, but sparse. It was very damp and the bed was not comfortable.

I don’t like the farmers door on the bathroom which left open and almost 2 inch gap open. Also didn’t like the shower, which didn’t have a door. And the coffee machine in the room did not work well

The room was modern and large with no carpeting - Hooray! However, the bathroom door is a sliding door which doesn't close completely. If you are using the bathroom, the person lying in bed close to the back of the room can see you inside the bathroom - showering (which is fine) but doing your business - not so fine. Additionally, the pet fee is $50 per day! Maybe at a 5 star hotel with a nice pet area, I would pay that but this is a beach hotel - and you are using the sidewalk grass along a busy main street bordered by a main freeway. It was an unpleasant surprise. All Staff members were very accommodating and extremely helpful and pleasant.

Cute lottle boutique hotel! Small and quaint. Manager is si sweet! Beds are a little soft and saggs in the middle, but overall we loved it!
