I was given a room that was old and smell moldy. I did request to get move to a different room and they accommodated my request. I wish they would have given the upgraded room initially. I was also charge an extra day for self parking. They were suppose to give me a credit but they never did. A lot of the restaurants were not open during my stay.

This property has amazing ocean views from the balcony. Very spacious with golf course and restaurants. The room was clean and the resort staff was great. However, it needs an update badly. The hole resort should be renovated to justify the high price

This resort was completely breathtaking! Beautiful setting and beautiful pools. The only down side was having to take a ferry to get to the beach. Although, the beach was amazing and completely worth it. Palomino Island was beautiful but keep in mind you can only go there from 10 am to 5 pm which is the last ferry back to the resort. The different shops within the resort were very convenient where you can find just about anything you need. The restaurants were also great, each serving different food to give you a good variety and selection. You truly don't have to leave the resort at all, everything you look for on a vacation is there! We look forward to our next visit here!

Poor customer service
It was not our first stay, arrived Friday at nnoon at El Conquistador. We had a flooding at our room, called front desk and housekeeping. We had to wait 2 hours until they properly responded and moved us to another room. Once we got the new room, we had dinner in the hotel. When we got back to the room the shower water was so hot and no cold water- that we couldn’t take a bath. Saturday morning day we departed the hotel and no one cared. Had prepaid and did not received refund. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t take the minimum reasonable attention to the situation.

Beautiful scenery!! Plenty of pools. Loved the private beach.. Breakfast selections k . Mexican restaurant I personally didn't care for and either did my family. Food a bit pricey. Otherwise I had a wonderful trip
