It’s our 3rd time staying at the Blue Dolphin Inn and it’s predictably and reliably comfortable. The breakfast is huge regardless of your choices and the convenience to walk to restaurants is great. With EV charging, it’s our go to spot to stay in Cambria. We’ll be back!

Great property for those who enjoy taking long walks on the beach or boardwalk. Or, those who enjoy solitude and watching and hearing the crash of waves along the sand. It is also the perfect place for those who enjoy great restaurants, like the Moonstone or the Ingigo Moon in Cambria. We’ll be back soon!

This hotel is right on Moonstone Beach, with the ocean and walking path right outside its door. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and very clean. It’s a bonus to have breakfast provided to your room each day. We sprang for an ocean view room and it was well worth it! We will hopefully be back again some day.

The Blue Dolphin Hotel offers an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the elegant ambiance and exceptional staff. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, each with a view that made our stay feel like a true getaway. But the highlight of our experience was Irma, the concierge. Irma went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our trip was perfect. She was incredibly knowledgeable, suggesting local gems and must-visit spots that truly made our stay unique. Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for, and her recommendations never disappointed. Irma took the time to check in with us each day, providing personalized insights and even coordinating some last-minute arrangements with ease. Very comfortable. One item to addressed (room 206). There are ten cylinders outside the window that turn on and off, throughout the night that are very industrial sounding.

Location was the best part
The Inn is in a great location. Front desk could be a lot friendlier and more accommodating. The included breakfast bowl/burrito had no taste (bland). The bathroom was tiny and there was no water pressure in the shower. No air conditioner. Good restaurant and beach steps away. The location was the best asset.

Nice room. Spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. They bring it to you. We walked the boardwalk and into town for lunch. We didn’t use the sun chairs the property provides to sit and look at the ocean because it was too cold. But very nice touch.
