Flop Life - Gulf View Paradise w/ New Pool and Spa

Flop Life - Live like a local. Flip flops and sandy toes, sunsets and bbq's. When you walk in, Coastal Style remodel, will make you feel welcome, cool and invited. This area is one of the nicest and best kept secret. stretches beach on the Emerald Coast. Our end unit has on of the largest, wrap around balconies, seating for 8, tall Adirondacks and a gulf view. There is a NEWLY remodeled heated pool and spa(open all year round), cabana, bbq pits and you are steps from the beach. Around the corner is a public boat dock where you can fish on the Eastern lake.

The Space
It has been updated to the most current style and design that is so popular in the region. It is referred to as "Coastal". Light and fresh, be on of the first to enjoy your vacation in this wonderful, modern and amenity rich unit. The triple bunks can accommodate up to 3 children (sorry, no adults - 100 lbs. limit per bunk. We also have a full size bed and a queen size bed making sleeping for 2 couple very comfortable.

Guest access
Included in the unit is access to the elevator, covered parking, BBQ pits and beach. We recommend renting bikes and chair service in advance as this may be difficult or more expensive if you want until you arrive.

Other things to note
Hello and thank you for staying with us. We know some of you are returning and have your favorites. For some of you, this is a new experience. We want you to know we stay on top of changes and latest additions. Some of this comes from our stays and some from guests feedback. So, the following is a compilation of recommendations. We encourage you to search for best pricing as some weeks a particular company may be experiencing low volume and therefore will be discounting rentals and/or services.

For bike rentals we recommend 30A Bike Rentals. It is just down the street and they have always provided good service.

As for chair service, we recommend Live Well 30A

Again, shop around with a general search for chair service along 30A

Remember, we have plenty of chairs on the balcony, but there is no umbrella. The chair service makes for a hassle free beach day. Beach towels are also not included. Use the interior towels on the beach/pool may result in additional charges.

Sights

Seaside is the original. It is a 2.5 mile ride and traverses some wonderful sights as well as gives a quick overview of the area. I am not a bike rider, but found it easy to bike on the bike trail there.

Restaurants to enjoy around and Alley's and Barefoot BBQ, Heavenly Ice Cream is a must. Donut Hut, is a local favorite for coffee and donuts. The Old Fish House, it is at the end of our street, has live music, great food and great coffee along and free ambiance. Try their fancy coffee in the morning and great sushi in the evening

There is so much more, ride through Watercolor.. vest Alysias Beach for photos and splash pads. Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach and the Sugar Shack for the kids, Sunday farmers market at Rosemary beach…..plan it and do it.. or just chill. It Cannot be done in one trip, so please enjoy, relax and come see us again!

Great Location
Property was a very short walk to the beach and it was easy to rent chairs/umbrellas right at the public beach entrance. No fault to the owners but our upstairs neighbors were very loud during our stay and would even stomp so loud that it’d shake the ceiling lights. It wouldn’t deter from recommending the space or staying again.

Beach getaway
This property was perfect for our week long beach trip. Only a short walk to the beach and we very much enjoyed having the pool as well. Only a couple minor things. The place was overall clean except the floor was clearly only swept and not mopped. Also, the gazebo by the pool was great for shade by the pool, however, the deck was a little rough with nail heads sticking up, so be careful with bare feet.

Great location, easy access to the beach, bonus with a bit of a view, quiet and not over crowded. Pool was awesome and gazebo area was a nice space. Exactly what we needed, comfortable, and at the right price. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

Awesome location/pool
This location of this condo couldn’t have been more perfect. The beach was less than a 2 minute walk. Chair service wasn’t even necessary as I could set up the chairs provided when I woke up with a quick, relaxing, walk down to the beach and back. The pool here is absolutely beautiful. It is very well maintained, crystal clear, and clean. The condo had everything. The host was thoughtful in providing games, puzzles, enough products for the first day stay. Many suggestions were given for great places in the area which was great since we normally stay closer to Destin. We loved exploring the 30a area and will definitely be returning.

Great Beach Condo & Amazing Location
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The condo was even better than we expected, with a great view and a quick walk to the ocean front! We loved the relaxing atmosphere, the beautifully decorated of the condo, and the beds were amazing! The condo is conveniently located making access to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Great location near beach
The location was great! We always want to stay a short walk to the beach if not on the beach. The size was perfect for our family of four. If our teenagers were much bigger the bunk beds may have been tight but it was a good fit for us. It was clean although we noticed the floor seemed like it could use a good mopping. My guess is the cleaning crew does a quick one over but it was a minor thing we noticed and didn't impact our overall stay. We didn't use the pool or hot tub as we prefer the beach but it looked very clean.

Our 2nd time at this condo and would 100% return. Owner has always been very nice to work with. The condo itself is very nice, has plenty of space for our family of 5. Nice pool/hot tub area! Short walk to beach with access right out in front of beach entry. This can be hard to find on 30a! Honestly have no complaints about this condo. Our family loves it!

Lovely comfortable clean and relaxing
I had a lovely relaxing stay in this stylishly appointed condo. Loved the wrap -around balcony with view of the Gulf, the convenience of a short walk to the beach, and the pool. An absolute gem!
We had a wonderful stay at this very nicely updated condo which is in a wonderful location and has great amenities. The owner was very responsive and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. The beach is a block away and you can hear the waves from the deck. The beds were so comfortable along with the couch which is important to us! There was everything we needed and then some! We will be back!

This property was everything we needed it to be! Totally convenient to the beach (2 min walk, if that…with kids). There was a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella and beach toys we could use. Great view. The pool was wonderful. The condo was nicely decorated and the kids loved the oversized bunk beds! It was a perfect time. We can’t wait to book this location again!

Nice getaway
The condo was very clean and well appointed, located in a perfect location. Everything you need for your stay was at the condo. The walk to the beach was very quick and easy. Our 13 and 10yo loved the bunk room and the pool. The host is very sweet.

Good location, great pool, really poor shower pressure
We had a good time, the location near the beach was great, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. Unit itself was clean and adequate except for the master shower. A previous comment had mentioned that the water pressure was low, but we did not expect it to be as poor as it was. We all had to use the one other shower which was inconvenient.

Can’t get anything better!
Just a 1 minute walk to white sands and the blue water. Wonderful stay in such a great/safe location you really can’t beat it. Renna was an awesome host she is just one call away from any help or questions needed. Large corner patio solid bunk beds for the kids we had 4 adults 2 kids with plenty of room. Thank you again Renna for letting my family make some fun beach memories. 10/10 definitely will be on the look out for this unit next year.

Wonderful condo in a perfect location
We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. And the location was perfect! I had trouble finding the beach umbrella (it was buried under all the beach toys), and the owner called me immediately to help me locate it. We would absolutely stay here again!

The family and I enjoyed the place. It was very clean and cozy. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, even with small kids. The only negative we found was very weak water pressure in the showers. Other than that, everything was great!

Family Beach Trip to 30A
Our short stay was absolutely perfect, except for check out. The condo was furnished nicely and was very clean. It truly is close to the beach and we rented chairs so that made beach days easy with kids. It was convenient to everything you want to see on 30A and the pool was awesome. We would be happy to stay again! The only negative was that the listing had a checkout time of 11 AM, but cleaning service was there an hour early and very rudely kicked us out (and we have three small children, so there’s a lot of moving parts to our lives). Apparently there was a miscommunication between Eastern Time Zone and Central Time Zone. It wasn’t a big deal but was just a little weird.
