Staff was great , helpful & friendly, very excited about the renovations. Ice machine on 2nd and 3rd floor did not work. Curtains don't cover the length of the window, light comes in. For some inexplicable reason the desk alarm went off at 6am! I did not set it & I couldn't turn it off, it just went off every 10 minutes until i had to turn on a light & figure it out. Really, really pissed me off. Water pressure in the shower was really weak, it took forever to rinse my hair. Disappointed that breakfast was not included, the other hotels nearby have this feature. The location of this hotel is right off the Bluewater bridge exit ramp for trucks. There is nothing nearby if you don't have a vehicle DO NOT CALL A CAB, Uber it! Cabs in Sarnia suck. I would not stay here again because of the location & no breakfast.

new construction at the property. clean but smells like chemicals in the halls and paint. outside construction is still going on. older tub windows in the place and the heating system didn’t have fan which made to a heating a lot of. noise.

Hotel is in the process of converting to a Four Seasons Sheraton so not eveything is open. The ground floor balconies are screwed shut, for example. It will be an excellent venue once complete

The property was still under renovation but it did not effect my stay. My one top issue and that was that housekeeping knocked at the door at 9:30am. With checkout time being 11am I feel that 9:30 was too early especially since i was not checking out. On vacation I don't want anyone knocking and waking me up. I realized that i was there in off season but the restaurant was not open for lunch?? The hotel is within waling distance to the water & the casino as well as a quick drive to shopping
