The water parks were busy, but not overwhelmingly, so. We had a great time watersliding and swimming. The only issue was the long walk between our room and the water parks. The shortcut entrance door by the front desk was closed, so we had to go all the way to the other entrances. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

We liked our room itself. We stayed in a Space Themed one on the main floor (Can't remember which one exactly); just keep in mind that it's on the main floor and can be very busy. Upon arrival and check-in we were told that the payment card use (Koho pre-paid MasterCard) we were going use for the Security Deposit was not eligible to use, which has caused instant panic as we had booked online in advance and are driving from another province, nowhere online had stated that pre-paid credit cards issued through these type of fintechs were not accepted; fortunately the front desk agent was able to invoice me via online request for payment and it immediately worked out. Our room was facing the pool with the splash pad but it wasn't too busy during our stay. The water was nice, didn't get overly crowded. Note that there are guests that don't care about the pool rules, and if you try to say something you're going to get lashback from them. Was nervous to speak to the hotel staff about issues with other guests as they didn't seem to do much about the disruptions. Breakfast wasn't included at the restaurant but it was still tasty when we bought. Overall Saskatoon Travelodge was a decent place to sleep, all amenities were close by, free parking, staff answers calls right away, cleaning services are nice, beds are comfy.

The staff was decent with the hotel being so busy. One of our room the lamp was broken. The other room had been smoked in and I’m allergic. The situation didn’t allow me to move rooms. No compensation was offered The hot tub was lint hot and the jets stopped working.

The property is VERY old and it is a labyrinth of old hallways, tight corridors, stairs all over the place. Very difficult for anyone with luggage, mobility issues, etc. to navigate. On check in the doors to one of the hallway entrances was propped open and a few unsavory people were hanging around the door/parking lot in the back. There was a guest in her pjs with her luggage at the front desk when we arrived at 1:00 am to check in demanding to be moved to a new room as hers was so noisy. The front desk agent was not overly helpful and kept saying there was nothing he could do to help and he was sure it would be fine from then on. This entire time another staff was standing at one of the other 3 computers and refused to check us in. We were told we were going to a very quiet, very nice part of the hotel. Haha! We were located in the tower and the rooms have had some lipstick (LVP floors which are damaged and dirty) the hallways are dark, closed in and old. The fan on the AC unit wouldn't work so we had no "white noise" and by 3:00am the noise started with other guests coming and going and we heard every whisper, every step, every tap running. People knocking on doors, phones ringing in rooms. By 8am we couldn't stand it and we were up now for the day. When we told the front desk how unhappy we were she said, ya, people always say how noisy it is and dismissed us. Such a waste of night's room for 2 hours of rest in a dirty old hotel.
