We showed up with our confirmation for the room which we wanted something right off highway. (We are seniors and were tired). We were then told to go to another motel just up the road and in behind a dilapidated building with a broken down vehicle. So first impression not great!! Then we entered and the place was clean but electrical wiring must date back to 60's. There were extension cords running everywhere. No receptical at all in bathroom, no hooks for hanging towels. You had to place your towel or anything else on the toilet or in the sink. Windows are so old and they are double glass, they rattled so bad we had to leave TV on to drown out noise. I feel like we are falling short in reviewing and something should be done to not allow these unsafe buildings to be rented (electrical). We would have left but as I said we are seniors and needed to rest before traveling further.

WINDOWS DONT LOCK! This is not only a security risk for your personal belongings but also a safety risk of your room being broken into during the evening/night time hours. I travelled solo and never felt so unsafe. I was better off sleeping in my car. At least it properly locks. There’s also no camera system at the exterior of the building increasing the risk of theft/break-ins. The staff were very friendly and the room was decent but not worth the security risk to ever stay there again.

Basic comfort at a good price.
This hotel has a check in not located by the room we stayed at. The room was large, and clean(Some of the tiles in the bathtub could have been fixed better). The bed was comfortable. There was a vehicle in the parking lot with it's siren going off for a while. We thought it was a police vehicle going down the road but it kept on going. The room could have used a bagged rack, or another chair.

Good for the night
Decent Motel. Our room was not at the main location but, down the road a bit. Motel was a bit outdated but, clean. Pretty much what we expected in the area. Staff were friendly and we would stay here again. We had dinner at the restaurant next to the main location/office and the food was wonderful!!

The room was ok & clean enough but the whole set up was weird. The hotel was supposed to be called The Voy but actually we checked in at a store with The Voy listed on the door, not easy to find. From there we were directed down the road to a motel behind a hotel, where we were the only car there. Can you say Bates Mote?! One other car did check in later. I would NOT stay there again!

I have no clue what the Voy looks like or is like. I do know, however, that once Expedia has your money, they won't let go. It took me HOURS trying to get back to my Expedia account, and I STILL couldn't cancel my reservation at The Voy and move it forward a day. So, in essence, I'm paying twice for the same room because Expedia appear to be a bunch of cyber crooks.
