We loved staying here. We were surprised it was immediately next door to the Gering Civic Center where we attended a reception. We loved our room. It was tasteful and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. It is totally walkable to downtown. Parks nearby. Lots of trees. Safe. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. We will stay here again when we come to Gering.

Room was clean and bright. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the provided bags for the ice. The breakfast was tasty but could have had more options (maybe sausage or bacon, fried potatoes or biscuits and gravy). One thing that stood above ALL others is that they did NOT use paper plates, or plastic utensils. The had glass plates, cups and regular utensils. What a great personal touch!!

If it were not for breakfast I would rate them higher. There was no sausage, biscuits or gravy. Just eggs and toast some sweet breads and yogurts. The orange juice contain was empty both mornings. The gallon milk jug sat in the frig with less than a cup in it. We saw the staff bring a table forks she had washed before coming to the dining room making me think they were short on silverware. Second morning we looked around and decided to skip breakfast. The room was clean, and comfortable. We liked it very much. Location pleasant and in a good area. The breakfast was our only disappointment.

Hotel is in a convenient location near the Scotts Bluff National Monument and Chimney Rock while also having several restaurants within a walkable distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance with anything such as when I needed a new keycard for my room. My room was very clean and well-kept and I also enjoyed using the fitness center, particularly the elliptical machine. This is the perfect hotel for a solo traveler on a budget who desires a clean, roomy, studio apartment-like room/suite after a long day of hiking and sightseeing.

Nice neighborhood, quiet and clean!
We would stay again if we are in the are. Nothing fancy, but was clean and the area was very nice and quiet. There was a park nearby that was nice for walking.
