So when i booked this, had zero idea it was quite literally right on the skid row & how unsafe this area was. My kid saw 3 protitutes just off the Aurora st, and asked me why they were wearing their bathing suits out and that if we should offer them to buy clothes. If you're travelling with kids, i would def avoid this area. Staff on the other hand, was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were just filthy and bathroom had stains, i didnt even want to shower in the bathroom.

I just arrived to this hotel without booking (I did not know if we would arrive on time, so I thought just to find a hotel in the neighborhood). The lady at the reception was extremely polite and helpful. She did find a great room for us although I had not reserved in advance. I really appreciate when you see people go an extra mile like this.When you have a car, it is very easy to go downtown from this hotel. There is enough free parking at hotel's premises.

I was scared when I read the most recent reviews but the staff were helpful, the room was clean and we felt safe during our stay. It could've helped we were there on a weeknight. If anything the microwave and TV were a bit dated but that wasn't a big deal to me.
