I liked that Inn on the Lakes isn’t a branded hotel chain. It was a step back into old Florida without being tacky or rundown. We even had real keys for the door. The desk staff was courteous and professional and the room, while not amazing, was sufficient for our needs and comfortable. I wish I had upgraded to a lake view room, but we were limited by budget on this trip. The view is very picturesque.

Let me say that this is my favorite place to stay in Sebring! Unfortunately, my last stay was bad. Only because when we turned on the heater it set off the smoke detector at 2:am. There really needs to have Maintenace on the regular.

Our experience with the hotel was bittersweet; I chose this hotel for the excellent overall reviews and great location. Upon check in we were very cordially greeted by the always kind staff. The lobby of the hotel was nicely decorated for the Holidays. There was plenty of parking spaces and the grounds were very well maintained and ornated with colorful flowers. From the exterior the hotel looks nice and conveniently located between two lakes. After check in, we were given keys (yes, actual old-school keys) that were very difficult to operate, for a room located in a wing of the building that is connected to the hotel, that looks more like a motel instead, with an exterior corridor, where you have to go thru stairs with your luggage. Room was very noise due to the proximity to US-27 always busy road. The restaurant of the hotel is open only from 5 pm to 8 pm, and the free (to go) breakfast in-a-bag has to be taken in your own room, despite the fact that the restaurant could be available for having a decent breakfast.

The staff was extremely friendly and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The only issue I would say to the staff is through my was in 205 as a drainage issue in the shower. Otherwise everything was great.

Great place to stay in Sebring

Customer service was excellent. Location is beautifully maintained. Only issue we had was with some big ants in the room, they kindly offered to changed our room but the kids were already asleep. Breakfast was great. They offered to upgrade our room next time we stay
