They went out of their way to accommodate us at check-in The location is perfect to explore the area, much better than Sedona. There was huge value for the money. We would high recommend staying here

Location was great and space was nice but we got bait and switch at check-in that was super irritating. We were directed to ā€œconciergeā€ for welcome gift. Sweet older lady offered help booking tours for discount then said all we had to do was listen to 90min presentation about the resort. Promised it wasnā€™t a hard sell arrangement. Turned out to be a timeshare and they told us we had to commit to 4 hours when we showed up; that there was no way it was going to be 90min so we were misinformed. We had a non- refundable event scheduled that prohibited us from staying for more than 90min so we left but they did not refund the $ we had paid for the tour (despite promising to do so). Blisteringly angry.

Great place for a great rate
The unit we stayed in, only for one night, was a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. We arrived in the evening and left in the morning so we were not able to use any of the resort amenities, so I can't review them. The staff member checking us in was great! They had a nice sheet showing some food and entertainment recommendations - and the food was great. The whole place looks really nice and it is so close to lots of tourist spots.

I have never stayed at a resort where they asked us to clean our room and take out our trash before. That was different. It was alright but there was no smoking on the property either. I understand people donā€™t want to be around it but we also paid the money to stay there and shouldnā€™t sacrifice our comfort for others, fully. They could use a designated area for it. Overall it wasnā€™t bad, just not wowed. The surrounding area is not well maintained either. No places to eat really and lots of driving if you want to go anywhere.

A lovely little stay just outside of Sedona. The units are fully stocked with utensils and have a kitchen, living room, and dining area. Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived and the people working the check-in desk were lovely. We had issues with our key cards only working sometimes, but it could have just been a fluke and we were always able to get it to work after a few tries. I believe the units share an interior door so we could hear the guests in the next unit, but I can't imagine it being a problem unless you have particularly rowdy guests.

Could be a nice place
The place has a nice big swimming pool, a gym, and a hot tub that I really enjoyed during my stay. You can feel the chemicals, but it's unavoidable in public pools, I guess. There is also a fireplace near the pool and some tables and chairs. It was a weekday, and it wasn't crowded, so I had a good time in the quiet with a pretty nice view, by the way. Itā€™s a nice place for people who prefer to cook for themselves. The kitchen is equipped with everything I can think of, from forks to the oven or a dishwasher. I was impressed! Overall, it was all clean except for a couple of cups that I wanted to wash before making myself some tea. The bad side of it - there was a lingering smell in the room that I couldn't get rid of. I didn't cook at all, but I had to bear with the smell. I tried to air the room, but it smelled anyway. So, if you are sensitive to smells, choose another place. The windows nets need attention, too. The room has a nice sitting area apart from the bedroom, which I like. The furniture looks old and dirty, though. In the bedroom there were some spots on the wall but the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom has a bathtub that looks nice and clean. However, the towels look a little worn out. It's a very quiet place. However, the walls aren't thick enough, I guess, because I could literally hear my neighbors talking in the next room. Take this into account if you don't fall asleep easily or want to discuss confidential information.

Not a "resort" experience
I was not impressed at all. The best thing about the place was the parking. The room was dated and felt dirty. I could actually see dirt in the corners and around the furniture. I don't like when there is anything on the bed that isn't fresh, and this bed had decorative pillows that were most certainly on the bed with the previous guest. Also the bathroom sink was missing the stopper and you could see how the drain. Just didn't feel like a "resort" experience at all.
