Nice place to stay, but no hand soap in room. Had to call. A lot of noise from our room, but I know Fremont area is a lively place. Had flight delay and asked for cancellation of original reservation. They stated they would honor, however ended up charging us anyhow. Waited over 30 minutes, still could not get through on phone. You should do what you say you are doing to in writing!

First of all the check in was super slow. I don’t understand why it took so long to check in. I book the room with a king bed but the front desk told me it was not available without extra charge and I could only have a room with 2 queen beds. They just want to sell extra upgrades when you check in which was sneaky. Second, it was loud af at night staying in the hotel. If you wanna party whole night without sleeping, it was great for you. If you ever wanna sleep, don’t go for this hotel. Third, the area was sketchy. Not feeling comfortable and safe.

On arrival we were told our reservation was CANCELED??? With NO explanation! Like we did it? We are both disabled had proof of reservations and number. Got Turned away with no sympathy direction at all!!! Like we are not guests or important. What about our safety ? Then the water in shower never worked or got fixed. Could not bath while on vacation. No coffee in room either. Very bad stay for my husband’s 57 Halloween birthday. It WAS Travelocity fault.

The room that I booked through Expedia, was not the room that was provided at the time of check-in. I had to ask for an upgrade to accommodate my party. After some delay at the desk, the representative was able to accommodate my request for two beds.

This trip was my husband’s first time to Vegas so I wanted to pick a hotel that he would be happy with and he was very pleased. I knew about this hotel because almost every year we come to Vegas with my RIH Daddy. So from here forward the Golden Nugget will be our hotel to stay at always. I’m planning a trip with 4 couples and our selves and yes this is the hotel I’m recommending us to stay at plus Bell transportation was amazing.

Quality and cleanliness was terrible. The towel in the bathroom had makeup foundation stains. I assume the towels were dirty and not changed. YUCK !!! I will never return.

The staff is friendly. After the second day, you need to pay for the coffee k-cups and there is no maid service. I agreed to pay for the k-cups and still didn't receive any. Overall, however, the place was pretty good.

I have been a frequent visitor but I will never go back. I arrived about an hour before check in. I was informed that I could pay a 30 dollar fee for early check in or I could upgrade my room and check in now. I chose the silly early check in fee and was then informed that the room was not ready and they would text me. Really felt like punishment for not upgrading the room. When they finally texted me I ended up paying $30 to check in about 25 minutes early. I went down to the casino to play black jack. They did not have one normal black jack table. They all had weird minimum side bets you had to make. I walked over to Binions and walked right up to a normal black jack table. I did zero gambling at the golden nugget. While there I registered my car for complimentary parking using the QR code at the front desk. After my departure the automated parking system hounded me for payment. The texts were threatening penalties for non payment. Another scam. I finally paid it. So I ended up spending 56 scam dollars for a room in a hotel with crappy gaming. Never going back.
