For a solo traveller this is a good place to stay. Train station just 2 mins walk. 15 mins walk to main shopping street. Room was a little small but it’s ok for 1 person. Bathroom is ok not great but acceptable. There is also a laundry on the 3rd floor. Convenience stores are just next to the hotel. Airport shuttle bus is just opposite the hotel. For the price you pay I would stay here again

Overall I think the location of this property is one of the best in Seoul due to the markets / any shop you may need and all the attractions being a stone throw away. Additionally the bus and train stations are all less than a min away . there is a 7/11 in the hotel and a GS25 directly outside for convenience. I’d say the rooms are really nice but could do with modernising. Apart from that they were regularly cleaned with a big bed and spacious. The en-suite was nice and modern.

I spent just over three weeks at the Lotte Myeongdong, and it was truly a wonderful experience. This will sound a little strange, but, because the weather was so hot and humid in Seoul during my stay, the highlight for me was the spacious, comfortable, and high-pressure shower, particularly the rain shower-style head. Just a real luxury. Other highlights included the comfortable bed and wonder breakfast in the 27th floor cafe. My only criticism would be the small number of elevators (three), which would create lines and crowded trips during peak times. But that’s a minor inconvenience, all things considered. I also have to compliment the excellent staff at the front desk - they were friendly, responsive, and efficient.

Spacious room. The hotel has a coin-operated laundry room, an iron and a steam iron. There are available also drink water machines on some floors. There is a convenient store (7-eleven) and a cafe (Angel-in-us) on the ground floor. Central city location - walking distance to Myeong-dong (one of the very tourist shopping areas) and Insa-dong (with artistic and souvenir shops and plenty of traditional restaurants). Close to Euljiro 3 ga station subway station and to a bus stop where bus 6015 stops, which is a direct connection to Incheon Airport.

Excellent hotel and rooms!
This Lotte hotel is excellent! All the staff were very kind and knowledgeable and helped us a lot. We had a superior double and the room and bathroom were a very decent size. It's conveniently located to the metro line and it's within walking distance of many restaurants. The plug sockets in the room supported Japanese and I am pretty certain UK and European plugs. The desk size is decent, there is decent light to work. It also has washing machines in case you need to do laundry. We would stay there again. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a big hotel, so you may need to wait a bit for the lift (no criticism - just something to keep in mind).

the hotel was located in a good area close to the palaces.Room was on the small size and the closet was too small for two people.The coffe in the room was terrible and the air conditioner didt cool properly. On the good side, very good service, 7/11 and gs25 at the first floor and a useful fitness center.
