Located atop Bluff Mountain overlooking Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains, Oliver Overlook is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. This beautiful cabin has amazing views that will take your breath away. You will feel like you can touch the heavens as you gaze out over long range views of the Smokies from your wrap around deck. Beautifully furnished, comfortable, and updated, you will feel right at home. Snuggle by the wood burning fireplace or relax in your hot tub after a day of exploring. At night, the view allows you to see the lights of Pigeon Forge sparkling in the distance!

*4 WHEEL DRIVE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE ARE RECOMMENDED DURING WINTER MONTHS.
Mountain roads can become hazardous or impassable in snow and ice. Your safety is a priority, consider buying Travel Insurance. We highly recommend it.

Oliver Overlook can comfortably sleep 6 guests. The cabin has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. There are 2 sides to the loft, 1 side has a Game Room with a Pool table, the other side has a queen bedroom with a bathroom. The cabin is easily accessible with only three steps to the front door. Conveniently located 8 miles off Wears Valley Road, only 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, the cabin offers the best of both worlds: secluded yet convenient to attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Oliver Overlook is perfect for a family vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, or couple’s getaway.

BE SAFE - The last 1/4 mile to cabin is a steep, curvy, one lane road, paved private road. Normally a 2-wheel drive is sufficient but inclement weather requires a 4 wheel/all-wheel drive. In the winter we highly recommend travel insurance in case mountain roads are impassable due to snow or ice.
BE PREPARED - Only a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags, etc. is provided so bring extra or you can purchase locally if needed.
BE AWARE - You are in Bear Country, do not feed bears or leave food in cars. Lock the car door.
BRING YOUR OWN - Firewood / Coffee
NO PETS - $300 fine and asked to leave
KEEP IN TOUCH - If you have any problem let us know while you are there, we will try our best to solve it.
Limit 6 Guests maximum, including children, if exceed the fine is $100 per guest.
Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended or safe.
Hot Tubs are used at your own risk. Be Safe.

Nearby Things to Do: Dollywood, Splash Mountain, and the legendary Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show are all great ways to spend your vacation. You can also explore the Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove with day hikes, horseback tours, and zipline adventures. In nearby Gatlinburg, about a 30-minute drive, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, and the quaint Arts and Crafts Community await!

Family Vacation
Our vacation was everything that we could’ve asked for and more. The views were amazing and the cottage was beautiful. We were able to see the Dollywood fireworks. The beds were comfy and the amenities had everything we needed. Driving up to the cottage was very steep and scary but we managed to get used to it. My don’t loved to see the wildlife and the bear that made a visit to our garbage can. Thank you for everything.

My aunt wanted to go to the mountains one more time. She will be 85 this month so ease of entry was important. My 72 year old mother was also with us. It was the perfect size for the four of us. The mountain view was gorgeous! It didn’t take long at all to get to town. We were able to have food & groceries delivered. I would stay here again. We all enjoyed our visiting on the porch in the morning, watching the evening’s sunlight changing, the blue smoke rising & spotting fire flies.

The view is amazing
From the first steps on the deck your breath leaves you as you take in the view. The drive up to get that view also takes your breath away but mostly from worrying you might meet someone coming down the mountain on the narrow roads! Honestly tho, to get that view you have to climb that high.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very peaceful with beautiful views. The host was very kind and even checked in on us after some severe weather went through the area. We were blessed to see a momma bear and 3 cubs one morning during our stay.

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was great and so peaceful. Nice private getaway, with great views. Great location, we took day trips that we not from cabin, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Grotto Falls, Laurel Falls. And we also enjoyed our trip to the Skybridge and finished off sampling some moonshine at Ole Smokey and Sugarlands.

Awesome location, 4WD vehicle is a must
This cabin location was amazing with great views and amenities. I would say that a 4WD vehicle is mandatory since the road to get up to the cabin is very steep at 14° of incline.

Wonderful Christmas Honeymoon!
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights during the holiday's this year. We only planned one big outing for each day in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It was so great having the cabin to just sit and enjoy in our down time. One day we never even left the cabin...It's that beautiful. Everything was clean when we arrived. The hot tub was fresh and ready to go. The bedding, towels and such was clean and well stocked. There was sufficient paper goods for a few days for just the two of us, but bring your own. We cooked our meals every day but one, so we really enjoyed the kitchen. There are plenty of dishes and most all of the utensils you might need. The grocery store is just a short hop from the cabin. The other comments about steep roads is not an exaggeration. They are STEEP but the asphalt surface is well maintained. AWD or 4WD would be an absolute must in the snow but otherwise it was kind of fun navigating! We had zero issues so I can't comment on response if it were needed, but any communication or questions I had were answered promptly and sufficiently by Lisa! We didn't see any bears like some have mentioned but we did have one give it the old college try to get into our outside trash can one night! Lol The views are simply amazing, the fireplace was a treat, and overall this was one of the major highlights of an amazing Holiday trip. Would recommend!

Gorgeous views that you can’t even imagine. The cabin is very clean with all supplies that you will need. It is private and quiet. The manager was super nice and enjoyed working with her. The road is somewhat narrow, winding to cabin but we got used to it- no problem with it.

This is our 2nd stay at this cabin and it cannot be beat! It was very clean! It feels very secluded even though there are a few cabins nearby but your don’t see them or hear noise from them at all! And the view CANNOT BE BEAT! it is a haul up the mountain to get to it - but directions are very clear and it is 100% worth it! Very clean and accommodating- host was great and provided us with all the information needed. We will stay again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at Oliver Overlook! Just minutes away from everything to do. Hot tub was wonderful after a long hike. And the View……was just AMAZING!!!! We are already looking at going back and we will definitely rent this cabin again!

Cabin in the Sky
The views are unbeatable, and along with the hot tub and pool table, the house was a vacation in and of itself. If you were brave enough to get there. This cabin is literally perched on the side of the mountain and the roads to get to it are single wide and so steep sometimes you can’t see it in front of you. It’s great once you get comfortable navigating to it. We were glad we visited in summer. House lacked a few basic supplies like extra toilet paper and garbage bags, and wasn’t completely clean. The ac also struggled to cool the upstairs loft. Overall, the house was great for our family of 5 with three teenagers, but a few small things would make it even better.

Beautiful Cabin and View!
We loved our stay! The cabin was clean, cute, and the view was breathtaking. There really is only parking for 2 cars. If you have a full sized truck or big SUV, it is a tight squeeze but it’s doable. The 2 switch backs on the road to the cabin can be a little nerve wracking but we made it up just fine! We loved our stay!
