Completely unprofessional "professional" behavior
The front desk manager so she claimed was her title lied! She attempted to accuse me the customer of lying! The owner wouldn't speak to me about her employee but kept saying she was busy. Also the "head housekeeper" was especially rude and threatened to call the police on me because I was upset at my problem not being handled professionally. Emily was the so called front desk manager and Scott was the so called head housekeeper. Neither one were any type of professional.

Better-than-expected hotel
Comfortable and quiet, even though next to the Parkway. The entrance/exit is a little difficult, since it's next to an intersection with a traffic light, so you need to go N and u-turn if you want to go South. Reasonably priced rooms. There were some maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, and the staff resolved the problems quickly and to satisfaction. Decent breakfast. Good interactions with staff.

The lady who checked me in had zero personality. The hotel is out dated and dingy/dirty. Based on the condition of the hotel, breakfast was out of the question for us. The hotel is on a corner and it was difficult to get in and out of the property. For one-night to put our heads down, it was OK for the price. Would not stay for an extended period.

The room had a horrible odor-like mold and cigarettes, and our carpet was wet, the air was not cold. We asked the next day to change rooms and the manager on duty accommodated us and we moved to the room beside us. The reason for not changing upon arrival was that there were no other rooms available. The showers leak water out on the floor. The bathroom is not ventilated. The air vent in the ceiling puts out heat and doesn’t take the moisture out of the room.
