This was a good hotel. It was clean which is always a must, pool and hot tub were nice and kept at good temps, and breakfast was not bad, and it’s not that the staff were rude or unpleasant in anyway, but had to wait for long periods of time for service; whether to check in, get towels, or request something for the room. Could use more staff working to make this a really good gem. Nothing horrible, but nothing spectacular either.

We stayed 2 nights. Both mornings the woman who prepped the breakfast was unfriendly & acted like she was mad to be doing this job. Not a smile, a hello or excuse me as she moved thru the buffet line. She never said a word to people as she moved her way thru the buffet line . Both hot items she placed in the trays on both mornings were cold. My husband was the first to pick the items just placed & those were eggs, french toast & sausage. They should have been checked by her for a temperature. It was like they were unthawed, at room temperature and added & never were in an oven or microwave.

Check in was easy. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Breakfast was excellent. Quite a few areas have been remodeled but not by a quality professional. The pool area (most specifically the whirlpool) needs stops attention.

My mum & I stayed here 2 nights to go Whale Watching in Hyannis. Luckily for us it was super quiet. I can imagine the business they get during the summer, tho. The gentleman that checked me in was very patient & polite. Thank you because we had a long drive. The traffic was crazyyyyy. FYI- make sure to have the card you originally booked with so it will be quicker & easier to check in.

The staff, the pool, the jacuzzi were just what we needed. Even though they were doing upgrades while we were there, they were very accommodating and friendly. The powdered scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were not good at all, everything else was delicious. Change the eggs or make them better and you have a winner at the free breakfast. We will stay there again!

Anniversary weekend
Pluses: Very clean, friendly staff. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Didn’t try the sauna. In room fridge had a separate freezer, which was a plus. Water pressure in the shower was good and nice hot water. Close to restaurants and shopping, 5 minute drive to the beach. There is a free continental breakfast which consists of apples, yogurt, 2 cereal choices, bread for toast, and a waffle iron. It’s adequate, but don’t miss out on the wonderful breakfast restaurants nearby. I recommend The Breakfast Room in Dennis, Ann & Frans, and The Keltic Kitchen, in South Yarmouth. The “game room” is only an air hockey table, so if that’s important to your family, you may want to keep looking. Minuses: No soundproofing, could hear every step in the room overhead, and the snoring of our neighbor. The beds are set on a metal base. The mattress shifts easily, and when you get in, or turn over, the metal makes a GONG noise, which was really irritating. It was fine for our 2 night stay, but I will keep looking for our week long summer stay.
