Also, hike, bike, mountain bike, canoe, kayak, or tube the river for an all-out adventure retreat! you have the best of land or water. Hidden Gem
This place is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a peaceful setting but close to downtown Sparta! You can listen to the sounds of the river from the front porch. The place feels more like a cozy home instead of a house with everything you need for your stay. There is a great pavilion area set up nicely for gatherings. We were looking for a nice quiet getaway to just relax and the riverhouse was everything we hoped it would be. House is fully stocked with everything you could need, and was very clean. We loved the outside pavilion, every night we built a fire and pulled a table up and played cards or a game of monopoly. David was quick to reply when messaged with questions. Owners are super friendly and helpful. We cant wait to go back.

a gentle river with perfect temperatures for late summer
My guests and I all agreed this was one of our favorite vacays together, and we've had several. The house was well stocked & comfortable. The outdoor pavilion was a bonus for s'mores in September! No neighbors except up the hill. Just the trout in the river. We loved being here.

Right on the river, plenty of outdoor seating, walking paths along the river! The kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor pavilion was perfect for an evening fire and making smores. Can’t wait to come back to this little slice of heaven. So close to Camp Cheerio and Sparta! Perfect location!
