We enjoyed our stay at the Centennial. Our room was very nice and had a balcony, and the location is within walking distance to dining and shopping.

Check in staff were great and it's a nice property at a reasonable price. But the room was a litte dirty, aside from the bed which was very nice, the furniture in the suite was awful, the restaurant service was slow despite it not begin busy, and the climate control was broken making the room unbearably hot, even in late October.

Great location to walk to downtown and along the river. A few cleanliness issues with the room, but nothing serious. Ice bucket had something all over the outside (dried sauce??) and the balcony had garbage on the floor but otherwise great.

The bed needs to be thrown out. It is so broken down I felt like I could roll out of bed at any time. The lamp on the right side of the bed doesn’t work. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. Lots of crud in the corners. The view was awesome and the area is beautiful. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating.

I loved the look and feel of the hotel. It was very welcoming. The staff members were very polite and welcoming also. I decided I'd like to try breakfast at the hotel after taking a walk around the lovely walkway and Riverfront Park. The restaurant wasn't extremely busy when I walked in. I sat down at an empty seat, a server brought water and utensils, and said that someone would be with me as soon as possible. I waited for about 1/2 hour more before someone came, they said they didn't know I was there. I asked for the oatmeal breakfast which included fruit, and waited another 1/2 hour before it came. It was served in an oversized bowl full of oatmeal that was very runny. Way too much for one person. I thought they had already added the cream that was supposed to accompany it because it was so runny, and I added the brown sugar and raisins thinking that might help, but it didn't. I took a few bites, ate my fruit, and couldn't take anymore as I started to feel queasy, I returned the oatmeal. The staff was very apologetic about the matter and gave me $3.50 off of my bill. I thought more should have been taken off my bill since the oatmeal breakfast was very expensive to begin with. Unfortunately, I left feeling very unsatisfied. The oatmeal won't be a choice if I every get to visit again. However, overall I was satisfied with my visit.

It's great for a weekend downtown. Lots of shopping.. right next to Riverfront Park so a lot to do. The pool is great. Though usually easy to busy to enjoy
